Excellent location for hiking trip with Ultimate Hikes, we stayed before and after the hike and they stored our luggage; lake view was so beautiful we stayed in for dinner one night; very convenient to restaurants and gondola ; staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Everything that I expected and more. Comfortable room, great comforters, awesome view (breathtaking), good restaurant, close to city center and shops, close to other pubs (and such). Very helpful staff. On a steep hill with parking up the hill, use the valet service.

A very nice, clean and conveniently located hotel in Queenstown. Room was superb: clean, modern and comfortable. Staff was very nice. The concierges were young but helpful. Only issue we had was we only received 20 minutes of free WiFi a day and only from the lobby.

By far the best location of any hotel in Queenstown. Upgrade to a lake view room and you will see the lake, and you can walk to everything in town within 5 minutes.

Perfect location and sound quality. Nothing more to ask for in a hotel....except complimentary wi-fi would be a huge help for those that need to stay connected back home. Front desk and concierge were paramount in making this part of the trip go off without a hitch.

Our first two nights in Queenstown were at this hotel right before an early morning departure for Doubtful Sound. The location of this hotel is perfect, right across the street from the wharf where boats leave for trips on the lake--and where the buses depart for Real Journeys to Milford and Doubtful Sounds. Our room looked out over the lake--the weather […] was cold and rainy while we were there, so we couldn't spend much time on our lovely balcony. But inside the hotel, we were snug and well-cared for. Fantastic location within easy access to all main areas of Queenstown. Nice enough rooms with a great view and really comfy king beds. Hotel breakfast is rather expensive, but there are other options within walking distance. Concierge was good and looked after us well. I would stay here again unless I was on a budget.

Best location, I just found the room a little small for 4 people. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant there was very good. Room service was efficient and affordable. Over all great stay and would stay there again.

The hotel room it's self was nothing to write home about. Compared to the other locations we stayed in New Zealand and the low prices we paid for those accommodations, the hotel room looked average. The room looked dated, had to pay for an extra bed despite already paying for a third person on the initial reservation. The lobby area looked brand new […] and vibrant while the hotel area looked like it was ready for a renovation (step on some lose planks under the carpet while walking to our room). The room was clean though and the location with Lake Wakatipu right across the street can't be beat!! The staff were very helpful in helping us book our tours and letting us know what to do around town. If you are willing to shell out some dollars and don't mind getting "average" accommodations for the central location, then I would book here. Read more

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a good size and have a nice balcony. The hotel is a little tired but has everything that you need. Great buffet breakfast. Found the hotel quite quiet so we slept well.

Great location, in the heart of town for all amenities, shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and responsive. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food. If we are lucky enough to visit Queenstown again this would certainly be our hotel of choice.

hotel's room was clean, staff was friendly, valet service was very easy. My requests were done. The hotel's location is also very close to everywhere - so I don't need my car to go to city center. A lot of activities in the city center, which is only walking distance. I am very pleased and would love to stay here again on my next visit.

A nice place to stay.The staff is very friendly and responsive to inquiries. The king bed was very comfortable. The room furnishings were modest and dated. The tub/shower did not have a non-skid pad or skid resistant finish. The air conditioner worked well. Charges for internet and local phone calls are excessive. Room charges are high. Carpet in the […] halls should be replaced. Parking is behind the hotel in a gravel lot. There's a convenient access door to the hotel. However, space is not adequate for guests. Great location n close to everything including lake. Hotel should provide price list of minibar. Staff said we used minibar but we didn't have any. Once telling them, they were happy to remove it (otherwise I will get really angry).

Great place to stay. Location was perfect, across road to wharf and a short 2 minute stroll to centre of Queenstown. Lake view room was worth paying a little bit extra for. View from our room was absolutely beautiful. Worth every cent we paid.

Room was very comfortable with a comfortable bed for a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet has more than enough choice. It is located in the heart of town to make walking around the town easy and access to activities simple by either driving or local pickup. Overall a great stay.
