My stay at red roof inn was a little of an inconvenience the water was shut off for about an hour due to a water leak in the hotel other than that my stay was ok

Nice friendly staff. Room was well layed out and clean and maybe I just got lucky, but room was quiet also. A/C and heat worked great, no too noisy like some places. Just great value at the price. Will be staying there again soon.

The overall stay was good apparently Mayo Clinic clients smoke a lot there was no smoking in any rooms, however the grounds smelled like smoke and the elevator ...whewww. Check in and out was very easy....would stay again and bring air refresher.

I stopped at this Red Roof Inn to catch a quick night's sleep before having to hit the road again early the next morning. The room was clean and despite it being 1am when I arrived, the woman at the front desk was very helpful and kind. As a woman traveling alone, I also liked that the front doors were locked and a security guard was at the front desk. […] The only reason I won't ever go back to a Red Roof Inn is how uncomfortable the bed was . It was extremely hard (and I'm used to sleeping on a firm mattress at home). It was so hard that when I got in it, it moved sideways instead of sinking down with my body weight. I was really satisfied with the service, it was very clean, and gave you a high quality feel for a low price. My only complaint is the lack of a microwave in the lobby. I was a little annoyed that I had to ask a hotel employee (who was a very nice and helpful guy) to heat it in the microwave behind the desk. Why not just put a microwave or two in the […] lobby next to the coffee stuff? Its not like they are expensive. This hotel has blown away my perception of Red Roof Hotels. I had always believed them to be lower standard places more suitable to students and such. This hotel was every bit as comfortable, clean and enjoyable as any moderately priced facility and they do it for less. I believe the management makes the difference. I stayed at this hotel because the […] manager takes the time to address every internet review she finds from customers (good and not so good). This tells me that the management cares very much about customer staisfaction and I was right. All the staff are trained well and they show professionalism and kindness with every guest. There are not a lot of extras in this price range (eg. no breakfast) but you can expect the basic comforts and a good nights rest in a clean hotel if you stay here. Read more

The first room we were put in had blood splattered on the door and snot smeared on the wall. A used wash towel was on the shower and the tissues that were in the room were wet. We were quickly moved to a different room which was very much appreciated. The new room had a weird smell. I arrived around 10 PM, and the front door was closed, but the person behind the counter could see I'm there. She presses the button to remotely unlock the front door while attending to another person at the counter. The door lock was giving trouble, as we tried about five times, and irritation marked her face. The other person at the counter let us […] in. She says, "the door keeps giving trouble." And it really did for the five days we stayed there. So, the irritation was undertandable, and forgiven. FIX THE DOOR ! It wasn't nice to see frustration and irritation after driving 7 hours from Miami. However, got an upgrade with microwave and fridge. There was flaking paint everywhere, and slightly dingy lobby tiles. The mattress in my room was sunken in the middle, but was surprisingly comfortable for my 6ft, and 185 lbs. And I don't sleep well in hotels, but this was OK. So, the mattress wasn't so much worn, as it showed signs of prior use. Bathroom was standard shower size, &clean ! The overall toilet area was also clean. The sink was outside the bathroom, in our room, which worked well, as I had another person in the room staying with me. My only complaints are that the fridge wasn't working. Also, the room had a smell as though at some point in the past they allowed smoking. I know the smell of old tar, because I'm a smoker and my car has the same smell. No matter how many times you clean it. No breakfast either BTW. No hidden charges either. Thanks Expedia ! Read more

We stayed one night just passing through. The service desk personnel we nice enough. There was no continental breakfast but a Cracker Barrel was right next door. The room was basic but ok. The linens were clean but seemed a little worn (small hole in sheet and bed spread). We did have to kill one cockroach. This was the dirties hotel I have ever seen, Room was full of bed bugs and when we notify this ti staff they not even bother to check the room. WE had changed our room at 2 AM in night. Over all ratings to this hotel should be (-10)

The mattresses were extremely hard and we could not sleep good and started to check out after the first night but worked through it and stayed the remainder of our time. I will not go back to this motel. It also had a musty smell, the shower curtain was way to short for the tub and water drained onto the floor every time anyone took a shower!!
