Hotel was clean and adequate, close to beach. My room had no view. There was painting and construction in the next room. They NEVER SERVICED my room. The lady at checkout, when told this, had little to say and didn't even offer an apology. The gentleman next to her, though, realized this was bad adn said he would look into it. Great location if you're from out of town; close to restaurants at pier. Room was clean and comfortable however not available until after 3 pm, more in line with check-in time of 4 pm which is rather late. Overall though nice experience!

Our stay at the Beach House was fantastic! The rooms are great - just what we needed - a comfortable bed, a desk, mini kitchen area, small living space and a deck. I went there with my wife and my 4 year old boy. I am pretty fussy about hotels but apart from the apathy of the front desk personnel I have only good things to say. Rooms are nice and comfortable, with a nice sofa bed. The beach was just amazing. Overall I would recommend it even for families,

Really loved our stay at the Beach House. My wife tagged along on a business trip and had plenty to do during my day of meetings. The pier is right out your door and there is more than enough to do during the day or night. Very relaxing stay. Super comfortable bed. And you gotta love a fireplace in the room!

A clean if unremarkable hotel. Big rooms with many conveniences. One note: if you are not in one of the higher-priced beach-front rooms, you will most likely looking out on a parking garage or blank wall. If you want to be in the middle of Hermosa Beach, next to both beach and pier, you can not beat the location.

An exciting location with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop. Impeccable service, staff was very helpful in every way they could possibly be. The only negative was that our room took about 2 hours to get cleaned up for our occupancy. We would go back in a heart beat.

I've stayed at the Beach House before and enjoyed my rooms but this time I had a room close to the back alley, parking garage and restaurant, It was noisy and the view was not so good. For the price I paid for the room, I was expecting a much better room. I could have stayed some where else for half the price with a decent view.

The stay was almost perfect. The room and view were exceptional. We stored our rented bikes in the place suggested by the staff with a promise that they would be guarded over night, and one was stolen. This was a disappointing flaw in an otherwise perfect place.
