Although the hotel was undergoing remodeling, there was no dust, or noise. I will definitely recommend this hotel! It was extremely clean, and the staff was EXTREMELY welcoming! The great thing is the rates are great and it's only 5 min from the STRIP. It is also a SMOKE-FREE Hotel.. You still get a couple people smoking in the casino, but you can actually breathe and your hair doesn't stink like smoke. LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!!

If you like to get away from the megahotels/casinos, but still have access to the Strip and what it has to offer, then the Westin is a great choice. The only downside is that the guestrooms are a bit on the small size. The pool is also quite small.

The staff gave away my second of two guaranteed late check in rooms that were TOGETHER after I verified with staff two rooms with two beds together when I checked into the first room. I had to argue and then request manager. She offered rooms on different floors! The exact opposite of my goal and why I rented both rooms and "Verified" two rooms blocked together. Her solution was rollaway beds in one bed rooms, NOT what I ordered, paid for, or was given. Way to ruin a short "RELAXING" vacation! Then the maid exchanged my daughters pillow case for theirs. This was a mistake and breakfast was comped for our trouble. Poor customer service!

We had our basset hound with us. The hotel was very accommodating. There is a one time pet fee of $35 plus a deposit that can be released at the end of your stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and time we asked for anything. The hotel is about a block and a half from the strip , a very easy walk!

Came into town for a quick trip and get together with friends. Picked the Westin due to price and vicinity to the strip. The friendliness of the front counter person was great. Was offered and rolled into preferred customer status and upgraded. However the room they consider an upgrade is very small and in dire need of updating and cleaning. The bed and bedding was great however everything else was dingy dirty and old. The casino area or small and very dirty carpet was bad in places and a lot of construction going on. The room with a view looked out on parking lot as well as the Link and some old apartments. The personnel were over all very friendly and accommodating however condition of hotel makes it less likely to recommend or stay here again. Plus the amenities charge and tax on amenities charge you received on the last day it's ridiculous considering their little amenities

We have stayed here several times. It was always a quick walk to the strip but they area has been cleaned up a lot around the hotel. New resturants close by with the new Ferris wheel. The hotel casino floor was under remodel but that's not too important to us. The Westin is a quiet retreat from the never ending Vegas.

Westin Hotels have a good reputation for accomodation. This Westin unfortunately has seem better days Rooms are worn, dated & in desperate need of upgrading Likewise for the general areas. While the hotel is non smoking the gaming area which you must go passed is not . The staff were very friendly & ready to assist. The location, while not directly on the strip is a about 300m (5-10min walk) from it. Easy when you think of how much other walking you'll do. Centrally located for the strip. Compared to other hotels,it offers good value for money when compared to what is offered.

Good experience. Walking distance to the bellagio and ceasers palace. The restrooms did not have trash bags and no one came to clean the room. Very comfortable beds though. Had a great view

I travel to LV on business regularly. I really enjoy the hospitality and friendly atmosphere here. The employees are genuine when they ask about your day or what you think of THEIR hotel. I went to check in a couple hours early, and while there were no available rooms at the time, Matt made it clear that I would be contacted as soon as something came available, offered me a complimentary drink coupon and had housekeeping call me as soon as my room was ready. Spot on!

The Westin staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and I really appreaciated how relatively quiet the casino was. Most of the dealers were fun and nice and the food was all great. My only complaint is that on a couple different occasions my colleagues and I would return to our rooms to find our doors left slightly open and/or things moved in our rooms even though we had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and asked for staff not to clean while we were there.

My friends and I wanted to stay near the strip without breaking the budget, this was perfect! This clean, relaxing hotel was a very short walk from the strip and I would definitely recommend it! The pool was comfortable and quiet with drink service readily available. The room was also comfortable and quiet with a beautiful, tall, refreshing shower. We'll definitely stay here again and would recommend this to everyone!

Chose the Westin because it was a great deal and rated 4 stars. Would not rate it a 4 star hotel. Cons: Check-in staff was snarky Took them 3 times for them to get me keys that worked(had to go back & forth from lobby and room). Attention to detail was lacking. Example: the little yellow plastic a-board, put up for warning that the floor is wet, stayed in the elevator lobby of my floor for the entire week I was there (morning & night). I mentioned it twice to no avail. Housekeeping was also snarky when I was surprised to return one evening and they were working on the room at 5:30pm. Generally, hotel just tired and old; nothing special. Pros: Wireless internet was mostly solid Comfortable bed

It is a basic Westin, not as nice as most. Big problems were with check in. They basically didn't have any rooms available until 4pm. Which was a major inconvenience to so many who had traveled far! Did not offer anything for compensation for making people wait hours to get their rooms. Told me I could wait at the pool but didn't give me an access card and didn't tell me I needed one. Then on a fight night they closed their sports book 30 minutes before betting stopped, and the inconvenient auto betting machine they had didn't work. Many people showed up to place a bet on the fight and were very disappointed. Anytime there was a problem the staff would just shrug their shoulders and not even apologize. Staff seems to run the place not management. Very mediocre experience!

Disappointed by the fact that my credit information they got for incidentals was misused by the hotel and excessive amounts of money were authorised from my account on four occasions and even after I checked out. I called them up and response was not appropriate at all. I even spoke to the manager and asked her why did that happen. She promised to call back after investigation but never did. No body even apologised for this mess up

The hotel is conveniently located 1/2 a block from the strip. The property does not have a large casino, which makes it extremely convenient when one needs to go in and out of the hotel, without having to walk mile long stretched in order to get to the parking lot. The Spa is very comfortable as well as the gym. The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds and good towels. The service is very good. The downside is that the rooms dont start to get cleaned until 10am, so if you arrive to Las Vegas early in the AM, it is likely you wont be able to check in.

The lobby definitely needs a upgrade, not your average Westin experience that you are used to. The room also had a loud humming noise that kept me awake at night, maybe that's why they left ear plugs on the pillow :/ I usually really enjoy staying at Westins all over the world, but I wouldn't recommend tis one.

We had a wonderful stay with our two small dogs. Hotel staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to the strip but not part of the strip congestion. They had a dog area close to the front doors, very convenient. The casino is very nice and we won a few bucks. We were only there overnight but will definitely stay at the Westin Las Vegas again.

I have stayed in other Westin Hotels but was surprised to find the quality of this one not as great. We are Starwood members but were charged an amenity fee as well. The night noise was full of sirens and just overall not restful or entertaining.

The hotel is nicely located, just off the strip- so you can walk to the strip easily and not have to pay huge prices. The rooms were nice and spacious. Don't expect much from the casino though.. It's boring.

I have stayed in Las Vegas a number of times and I love to try new hotels, including Paris, New York New York and Caesars palace. This hotel was great the rate was good for te holidays the service was great the rooms were clean and I didn't have to spend half an hour walking to get from my car to my room plus they had a 24 hour Starbucks in the lobby that's always a plus
