Rooms were a bit tired (especially carpet) and chair --not dirty, just tired. The amenities in the hotel are good --decent restaurant/bar, and a pretty cool lower level where they offer a much-better-than average free breakfast, as well as some evening functions (wine, milk and cookies, etc). IF the rooms were better, I'd be more inclined to recommend […] this hotel -- for me, I won't return (unless it's price driven) and would select the Monaco across the street (I have stayed there as well)... The staff was wonderful starting with valet! Very helpful when asked about night life. Rooms were small but suited out needs perfectly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved everything. Especially the milk and cookies.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok, not great."
The hotel seems to do ok with what its got, meaning, it is an old dated hotel but they have done there best to make it hip and modern. It succeeds in the lobby but once you get into the rooms and bathrooms, you see that they didn't continue with renovations. Staff was very nice. A milk and cookie bar at night is a fun touch. Room was spacious.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Smaller room than i expected, but a great place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful hotel one block from the 16th st mall"
Close parking. Free room upgrade on our anniversary. Happy hour. Milk and cookies. Free hot breakfast. One block from mallride bus stop. Huge room with great climate control.Genuine Expedia guest review
"LoDo room with free drinks and late night cookies"
This was first the cheapest room we could find in LoDo and came with lots of extras. Happy hour in the early evening with free drinks (beer and wine) and a late night cookies with coffee, milk, and juice. Breakfast in the morning was better than the typical continental breakfast at most hotels. As for our room the bed was a little firm (I like a bit […] softer bed) but overall comfort and cleanliness was top-notch. If I could have swung free parking as well I would have given this a 6 star rating if possible. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We paid an extra $10 through Expedia to have a city view or street view.. unfortunately we got a view of the back of the neighboring building.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to 16th street"
Staff was excellent. Hotel needs some updates -carpet areas very worn. Quick access to 16th street- rail line. Just needs a liitle attention on the room floorsGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel close to all the Denver essentials"
The hotel staff were pleasant, courteous and quick to please. The room was comfortable, albeit a little tight for space. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided, as well as a complimentary late afternoon happy hour and complimentary cookies and milk in the evening. The Magnolia is one of the hotel stops for the tour bus company, which we utilized […] to take us to Rocky Mountain N.P. (highly recommended!). I would recommend this hotel to others because of its great location and would stay again the next time travel takes us to Denver. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A Great Boutique Hotel Find"
We ended up being delayed and did not get there until midnight of our first night. Instead of a regular room, we got a lovely suite! Starbucks just off lobby and 16th Street Mall just around the corner. Convenient to our kids that live by Coors Field.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Welcoming staff and easy to access amenities along with a great location made this hotel a good choice for my business trip.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Terrific, except for overly soft bed"
only complaint is overly soft bed and lumpy pillows. everyone very nice, service good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location in LoDo."
The room was a little small, but the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were great. The location is so central to LoDo that we could walk most places we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend the Magnolia to friends, and plan on staying there in the future.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great service! Fabulous bed!"
My daughter and I came to the hotel in a bit of an emergency situation. We picked this hotel because it was close to our location (about 15 minutes away.) I arrived quite tense but the reception clerk was so friendly and welcoming, the tension slipped away. She was smiling, friendly and welcoming, with gentle, calming humor. The room was spotless. A […] horrible experience was diverted and my daughter and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon and evening in downtown Denver. Thank you so much. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Classy and Comfortable"
It was a special night with my other half coming in from New York, and when I arrived I was automatically upgraded to a suite because it was open. It was a great experience all around and I would come back again anytime!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The breakfast/public area downstairs was really relaxing. The staff were very helpful and always polite. I was a little shocked that for the price of the room there wasn't a fridge or microwave. There was a microwave downstairs with the ice machine and vending machines, however. The workout room was nice and the steam room was awesome. I enjoyed the […] stay. Being RIGHT on 16th street was amazing. Just a quick walk around the corner and you had access to the entire 16th Street mall and the free mall-ride bus. Really enjoyed my stay. "Great location to eateries and shopping"
I really did enjoy my stay, but felt that because parking is so bad there, that charging so much for overnight parking was too much. Also there was no towel rack next to the shower in the bathroom. That was very inconvenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay"
Went to a comedy show and the staff driving me to the event and arranging it were outstanding. Thank you Jordan and Roman.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location - you can walk all over downtown and to Larimer Square. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a great bathroom. The only issue was the wi-fi, which is slow and unreliable (depending on where you sit in your room). The bed was comfy and the sitting area was good for having a little separate space. There was a small kitchenette (sink, […] microwave and fridge) which was useful. We did find it odd that in that big, big room, there was only one tiny trash can (in the bathroom). "Elegant home base in Denver"
First time in Denver for me; combined a side trip to Leadville for some mountain adventures with some urban exploration in Downtown Denver. Check-in was seamless: staff was welcoming & facilitated a quick check-in + luggage drop-off that allowed us to be on our way meeting friends for dinner in under 20 minutes. Room was comfortable, modern, and nicely […] decorated with enough space for chair & desk - very important to me. ( I do not enjoy hotel rooms where I feel like all I can do is sleep! This room had ample space for stretching in the morning & sitting to chat with 1 or 2 friends in the afternoon.) Elegant bathroom. Magnolia's offerings of complimentary breakfast, happy hour, and evening milk & cookies buffet alone are enough to make me plan a return visit! The common room for these perks was one of the best I've seen - complete with a pool table, many available seating groupings, and a decorative waterfall. Given this, the exercise room was a little disappointing - although equipment was top-notch, space felt claustrophobic & ventilation was not adequate to dissipate that distinctive "locker room/wrestling room/hockey bag scent" with which I am all too familiar! I did not choose to work out here - ran outside instead. (The exercise room is the only reason I did not give a 5 rating for facilities, btw, so if this is not important to you, no worries) The location was excellent for 16th streets, Arts Center, Civic Center, and walk to historic sites. The Magnolia Hotel was a very nice facility, great location and nice amenities. It was OK for business but a little pricey if for leisure or personal stay. The AC in my room was a little noisy and I had to adjust the vent so the air did not blow directly on the bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was there for business purposes. The internet connection in my room was so poor that it made it difficult to work.Genuine Expedia guest review

"My first opportunity to be here"
From the moment I arrived the staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was memorable. I arrived around 9:00 am. I completed my paperwork and the bell captain not only stored my luggage he stored my medicine in the refrigerator. When I returned slightly after 9:00pm to collect my key the wonderful lady at the registration desk comp'd me a cocktail […] since I missed happy hour. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Very convenient, right off the 16th street mall. We also walked to the Rockies game which was nice. We loved the happy hour, cookies and milk, and breakfast. Was a very friendly place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was ok. Room was ok - however if you want a quiet place to stay - dont stay here. Outside noise is quiet disturbing and rooms dont seem to shut that out.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great small independent hotel. Very clean. Great service. Not the kind of pushy in your face good service of the Ritz but attentive and aware. Ready to help and aide as needed. Very clean and stylish. Great location. Good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Everything We Wanted to See"
We had a lot on our to-do list when we landed in Denver and only a day to do it in. We chose Hotel Magnolia because of its downtown location and proximity to the Denver Art Museum, downtown shopping and cultural events. The hotel staff were just great: took us by un-scheduled shuttle to the museum so we could maximize our time. The concierge managed […] to persuade Rioja to give us a table after we were unsuccessful in our attempts. Room was clean and comfortable; we enjoyed it and also the evening happy hour. "Nice hotel in downtown Denver"
We had a very nice stay at the Magnolia hotel in downtown Denver. The location is very convenient, the staff was nice, and the evening wine & beer and milk & cookie sessions were a nice touch. The only downside was that parking was an extra $29 (I think) a night.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel, close to 16th Street Mall, Coors Field"

Had a fabulous time at the Magnolia. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. The free happy hour is a great way to meet up with friends before a night on the town. "Cute place, not too big, not too small"
Parking was GREAT, just $10 to park it yourself for the whole weekend. The hotel is just a block from the 16th St Mall. It's an old hotel but has been remodeled and looks terrific. Breakfast was super and the breakfast room itself is kind of artsy. Bed was firm (perfect for me). We would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
