I stayed here for just one night and it was fine for a business stay. Microwave in the room was nice to have although I wish I had known before I arrived. Easy check in and out. Clean and comfortable.

The hotel was conveniently located to the interstate and was only about 10-15 minutes from downtown. The bed was very comfortable and the location was quiet. We would stay there again!

Our family was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We primarily chose it for the price, so we didn't mind driving a bit out of our way to reach it. I didn't realize it was near the airport, but I wouldn't have known if I hadn't seen planes. We did not hear any airport noise at all! The room was very clean and the air conditioning cooled the room down quickly, which was important on a 95 degree day! A light continental breakfast was included which was not extravagant, but enough to not go hungry. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a clean comfy room at a very reasonable rate.

I requested and paid for a non-smoking room through hotels.com. I registered it, booked it, and paid for it, because I have a wife and small child who are allergic to cigarette smoke. I arrived at the hotel to find out that they did not have any non-smoking rooms available. They showed me my smoking room, which had the strong smell of smoke embedded into the furniture and carpet. They would not offer me any upgrade to a deeply needed non-smoking room. My only option was to pay extra money for a deluxe room that was non-smoking. This was definately a financial burden for my family. In past times, I've had good experiences in booking with hotels.com. I just hope that in the future, that hotels.com follows through with providing the room as booked.

we stayed 3 nights, and we didnt have any problems. we didnt like using stairs every time we left the room, we were on the second floor. there were hairs in the shower, i cleaned it before we could use it. the walls are really thin, i could hear my son crying from 4 or 5 rooms down the hall. the lady at the front desk when we checked in was rude, we asked her questions and she basically ignored us.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations by far.The room was very clean, comfortable and the location was very convenient. They bed was like sleeping on cement. The front desk staff accused us of having a 3rd person because my friend from St Louis showed up at the hotel to visit. They wanted to charge us for another person. We had to show proof that she was a St Louis resident.

We requested a non-smoking room and it was marked as a non-smoking room. However, it definitely smelled like smoke and the bedding had cigarette buns. I was told they had no other non-smoking rooms to move us into. Then the toilet plugged and we couldn't get it unplugged. But since they didn't have any other rooms to move us to, we stayed in that one.

The personnel were all very friendly and helpful. The lady who checked me in asked if I would like to change my double beds to a king for the same cost. The hotel is nothing fancy but was adequate. I was only staying the night to be closer to the airport and for that purpose it was a very nice hotel for the money. It wasn't extravagant but a decent hotel for the money. The man at the desk when I checked out was very friendly and offered suggestions of places where I could park for the airport. All in all a good experience.

I will probably not stay at this Travelodge again. The first room given to me - the A/C did not work and I was charge a higher rate to switch to another room. The replacement room's floor was very dirty - the carpet needed to be shampooed.

Close to airport with easy access to I-70 and I-170 for commuting downtown or to Clayton and the Galleria. Breakfast bar not lavish but quite satisfactory. Facility appears to have had a recent facelift. Was very clean; no critters hiding under the covers.

It was an alright hotel for overnight stays. Don't know that I would stay there for several days. We were going to the Amtrak station in St. Louis early the next morning so that made us closer with less driving the next morning. I had a very heavy suitcase since I was going to Chicago via Amtrak for several days. They did not have an elevator. Not sure what they do for handicapped people. Other than that it was ok.

The staff was very friendly and endeavored to make everything like home. Appreciated the greetings every time one of them saw me and also for the extra time the desk clerks gave to give advice on places to see in the city or to give directions when asked. Excellent place to stay. Will plan to stay there in the future if in the area.

People at the desk very unfriendly. Also give bad directions from hotel to even the nearest bus stop (should be the simplest thing to give directions to). Were untruthful about the ease to get to the train as well as accessibility to and from airport.
