Everything was perfect (or near perfect). Only disappointment was not having connecting rooms but they did their best to get our rooms (we needed two) as close together as possible (hotel was sold out for the night). Indoor pool was good, but they need to keep a better eye on the supply of towels. That said, the staff did bring fresh towels out when it was brought to their attention. Breakfast was good. The staff did a good job keeping everything in good supply. All in all, a good stay. The hotel staff was attentive and strove to satisfy any issues by a guest. I'd easily recommend the hotel to anyone.

While visiting Altoona, we decided to stay this year at the Hampton Inn. While I thought the hotel was a great place to say, I must say that the walls between the rooms are very thin. We could actually feel someone jumping on the bed next door, and hear the people in the room next to us. Also, through the bathroom vent we could hear whole converstations people were having in other rooms. We traveled with a baby, and it kept me on pins and needles worrying about whether or not they could hear him in the night, and early in the morning. Also, the breakfast while it had great foods for a continental breakfast, lacked when it came to the "HOT BREAKFAST" side of things. I was disappointed in the eggs, that we had every morning of our three night stay. Not the best I've had.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was well maintained, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Hampton Inn was convenient to everything...it only took about a 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants and that is because of traffic. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Not really worth mentioning but the only thing we did not like was the way the tub/shower was designed. The floor of it was all angled inward and downward and if you closed your eyes, you feel as if you are going to fall over. Very disorienting, but a small problem that does not effect the over all stay we had. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The staff is absolutely OUTSTANDING........always, very friendly, and ALWAYS with a smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are extremely comfortable.
