"Nice place, but..."
The room was very cramped for two people. Very loud when you need to keep the window, because it was quite warm and stuffy in our room with Temple Bar below. Great place if you want to party and pass out late, but not if you want to get any real sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location if you don't mind the noise"
If you're looking for a quiet, secluded getaway then this is not the place for you. Temple Bar has a lot going on which makes it great for finding places to eat and drink, and a lot of great sights are within easy walking distance. But there are people our eating and drinking to all hours, so keep that in mind.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location in Dublin"
The hotel is in a good location in the Temple Bar, with a supermarket directly across the road. You can walk across the bridge to shopping areas too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Modern with Great Location Hotel"
It was very trendy and modern. The elevator is really cool. I was impressed with the look, size and cleanliness of the room. The only complaint is that the toilet is inches from the shower glass siding. Not very comfortable. Overall, great value however. Great location and would recommend to anyone.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location but..."
The hotel is great, the staff was courteous, the location is fantastic. Our main complaints are related to a few things that appeared to lack maintenance (i.e. the closet door handles were broken), the door "lock" system would "forget" our key every few hours, etc. and how WARM it was! we tried to turn off the heater and asked the front desk to do something […] about it but they said the heater turns on automatically at certain times. Since our room felt at about 95 degrees we tried to sleep with the window open, but the central location in Temple Bar made for a really loud neighborhood. Bottom line, even though we liked a lot, and loved the location, I'm not sure I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Love that there is a club in the lobby, although I' m glad my room was above floor 2 - very loud. Comfortable beds. Staff a bit slow in their service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Good size room and friendly staff. Think its a bit ridiculous for a hotel to still be charging for wifi services though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Bar in Dublin- close to Temple Bar"
The Morgan was a nice hotel to stay at. The location was perfect since it was close to Temple Bar and other must-see sights. The hotel was really comfy but could use some renovations. It has a very funky decor to it. However, I wish that it was a bit cleaner for a hotel. The bar at the hotel was a plus, however it gets very busy and noisy. There are […] strangers walking around which made me feel a bit unsafe. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Morgan Hotel in Dublin, IRE"
The hotel is in the middle of Temple Bar and is close to most of downtown Dublin. Great for Tourist experiences or Bar hopping in the evening. There is a popular nightclub in the hotel with the pounding eurorock preferred by youg adults but most rooms are well protected from that noise. The rooms are clean and roomy for a european hotel. "This Place is All Wet"
Overall, my stay was "fine". The small terrace I had was a redeeming factor as the ability to have fresh air in what was a very cramped space was a blessing. The room and hotel was disappointingly worn down. To see their website which is slick and modern and sparkling fresh clean was in starck contrast to the reality. The bathroom was the largest disappointment […] with the dual headed shower being comical. The hand held shower piece holder was broken so you were forced to hold it throughout the time and you could not use the overhead shower option as there was a leak that fountained over the glass doors and flooded the bathroom floor, so much so that the bathroom door was warped and the wood flaking at the bottom from what must have been years of water-soak. The bed was bliss I have to say and is the only reason I chose to still recommend this hotel. The location also supported my rating. I stay in this area of Dublin usually at another hotel which was not available this time. I personally would alter my dates to stay at the other hotel next time and only choose this hotel out of absolute necessity, and if I do before I unpack will run the shower first! :-) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Morgan Hotel - temple bar area Dublin"
The hotel has a great location, no doubt about it. The rooms were clean, but definitely not luxurious, they had basically futons for beds. The bathroom was clean. If you are a young, 21-24 year old looking for a great place to party - book here. But, if you are traveling with a family, adults on a weekend getaway, or traveling for any other reason than […] to have a hotel frat party, do not stay at this hotel. The music from the lobby bar permeated the entire hotel until 2:30 am, proceeded by loud young adults fumbling back to their rooms. Perhaps this only happens on the weekends - I wouldnt know. The couple we traveled with had to change their room twice because of the noise - but the staff was good about doing their best to try to accommodate them - kudos to the staff for that. We were told that parking could be validated if we paid at the hotel. But, we paid at the hotel and STILL had to pay at the parking garage. It was all wrong - but we didnt bother to go back. The frustration was too high and we were just happy to leave the Morgan behind and move on with our trip. I do not know how it got a 4 star review. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms are a bit small, but other than that it was lovely. The hotel staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Cool design. Comfortable bed, small room. Really nothing remarkable either positive or negative - only note that you need to self park across the street if you bring a car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Location, Extremely Loud at Night"
The hotel bar turns into a nightclub at night. In addition to loud music, there were drunk loud people roaming the halls early in the morning. While the rooms weren't bad and the staff was very friendly, the loud noise made it very difficult to sleep and be comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location but bring your earplugs"
The Morgan is right in the middle of Temple Bar and a short walk to Trinity College, Grafton Street, the O'Connell Street Bridge, and tons of other sites in the middle of the city. Just be warned that the Morgan is also home to one of the only real nightclubs in Dublin. When the traditional Irish pubs are closing down, the Morgan is still going. The […] Morgan Bar takes over the lobby as well and the sound will travel up to your third floor room. Plan on hanging out at the Morgan Bar until it closes down at 2:30am or make sure you bring some earplugs. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. In the early morning hours when not a single cafe was open, someone at the Morgan would appear with much needed coffee. I didn't like my room - the too small bathroom was constantly flooded from the shower. The staff moved me to a different room for the rest of my stay and everything in the new room was just great. "Great location and helpfull staff"
In a bit of a tourist trap area but dead center in the city. The room was one of our nicest yet. WiFi was not included in my room but the reception girl hooked it up for me if I had my beer in the lounge. The lounge was cool and had good staff but the corporate lounge music gets just a bit painfull after about 20 min. Overall I will definitely stay […] there again next time through Dublin. "Hotel Morgan, Dublin"
Great location in Temple Bar. Modern, good sized rooms at a decent price. The only drawback would be the music and noise from the lounge on Saturday night. If you were thinking of going to bed early, forget it. If you were planning on going out late anyway, no problemGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Having your own bar and loud music seems to be contradictory to having guests staying in your hotel! The music just went on till 1-2 am and the windows were not sound proof. The only thing going for this hotel is its location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
nice place, and others are right, if you want to turn in to bed before the party stops outside, it is a bit loud, even with the windows closed. very nice place and easy to walk to anything around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trendy Hotel in a fun area"
We chose to stay at the Morgan because of its location. We wanted to be able to walk to all the sites, and the Morgan's location allowed us to do so. The biggest downfall is that they've got no parking available - but we knew this upfront. Parking across the street in the ramp was a little steep, but I guess that's the going rate. We were traveling […] with another couple and although we booked the same room category at the same price, our rooms were DRASTICALLY different. Theirs was about twice the size. Not sure if they just lucked out or we just were out of luck! That being said, our (small) room was cozy but cute & functional. WE LOVED THE FREE WI-FI!!!! That can't be stressed enough. "The Morgan - Perfect spot in Dublin's Temple Bar"
The Morgan is a very cool and funky hotel, with modern decor and friendly staff. As i was checking in, I met someone who has a travel website and radio show, and she was raving about the Morgan as one of her favorites. She also gave me other travel tips for Dublin.... everyone was so friendly, even the guests! I was early, so they stashed my bag and […] by the time i got back a few hours later, they had delivered it to my room. The room was very comfortable and clean. I never used the mini bar, although they had one that did not seem too expensive. The Irish Breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the cocktail lounge in the evenings was very hip modern and happenin'. I was never there very late at night, but for a few cocktails early one evening, it was the perfect spot. The bartender was knowledgable, enthusiastic and made a great Mojito (so good, i followed it up with a Caipairaihna). The location is perfect, next to the Hard Rock and a few steps from numerous other pubs and shops, as well as street musicians in the evenings. I loved the Quays pub and the Merchant Arch restaurant/pub around the corner. All in all, a great place to stay while in Dublin... it can be noisy if you have the windows open. "Fine for very young crowd"
Be prepared to be up very late if you stay at this hotel. the noise level is extraordinary well into the night. Though we were on the 4th floor, the thumping music and constant din of drunk overly loud clubbers meant we couldn't sleep until well past 2am. The room was small, though this didn't bother as much as its state. it all looked very nice until […] you look more closely at the details--bathroom not as clean as i would like, bathroom door rotten by water, not place to plug in coffee except the floor. Only stayed at the Morgan for one night so I don't know that I had the full experience. The location is perfect. City Centre is right there in walking distance. "The Morgan - Great location and service"
I have stayed at The Morgan at least a half dozen times in the last year and the service has been excellent. "Let down at last minute"
I would love to review the morgan as I was looking forward to staying. Unfortunately I turned up at 11pm to be told that they had a room for that night but were over subscribed so would be transferring me to another hotel the next day. one that was scruffy, the wrong side of the river from my colleagues and, according to locals, the roughest part of […] Dublin. Was very looking forward to staying in the Morgan but was extremely disappointed. Firstly after paying €198 I would be expecting an amazing room but room was very standard and dated. "Welcome to Dublin"
Hotel was perfectly suitable, we stayed midweek for 2 nights. Had a room on the 4th floor which was comfortable and suitable for our stay. No concerns with noise. "Good boutique hotel in the heart of Temple Bar"
Every staff member was very polite and efficient. The beds we extremely comfortable and the decor quite modern. "August 23 to 25th"
Difficult one as this is a great hotel, it's central location being a bonus and a downside at the same time. Cannot beat location but very noisy in Temple Bar, particularly when your room is on the street side.no airconditioning except for small table fan and room gets very stuffy if you don't keep either fan or open window and deal with noise into the small hours. Beware.......the rooms in what I assume is the original part of the hotel are getting shabby (stained carpet, marked walls etc...) & also have no air con, which is a real issue during a heat wave!
