The hotel is literally at the entrance to the airport--you could practically walk there. Our room was cold when we arrived at 2 AM, it never really warmed up, and there was no extra blanket. The continental breakfast area was filthy.

We were in Butte for a wrestling tourney and only needed to be their for one night (thank god). The main reason we stayed was the kids like the water slide and the pool other than that we could have stayed the night at a flea infested dump and had a better stay especially with the hundo we forked out. The room has seen its heyday ( ie. the late sixties) […] the bed was hard and flat the shag carpet stunk and the tube tv fell off its stand. This looks like it may have been a great hotel along time ago! The hotel staff was alright but not very friendly and the continental breakfast was disgusting. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The room was strangely appointed. It had a large open space with church basement type chairs & table. The king bed was fine. There was a HUGE tub but skimpy towels.

Room was clean but VERY outdated. Sheets, towels, etc were thin and low-end. We asked for a crib for our 2-year old but they had apparently run out and we never got one. The breakfast was a buffet but their weren't very many items to choose from and the food that was provided (eggs, biscuits) was overcooked and rubbery. The juice machine was empty as […] well. Hotel needs updating. Also they should tell customers when booking that hot tub is not functioning and they don't have laundry services. Also to use the waterside there has to be someone who is CPR certified. They don't always staff someone so you can't always use it. We booked this hotel based on the indoor pool and water slide. The hotel itself was ok. We went down for the breakfast to find the help was extrememly rude. Was to be served until 10 am, and they started tearing it down at 9:30. Said they had a huge convention of 300+ people the last few days that is why they didnt have much for breakfast. Spent 2 hrs in the pool. My 4 & 6 yr olds had a blast and the staff talked to them and made them feel like "little customers". Hotel had some nice updates, but rooms were dated...can't complain because the price was right.

We liked the location of the hotel, it really has great potential. We will not stay again with them, unless they do some remodeling. Everthing in room was old, they need to do a major remodel, replace carpet and furniture. The staff were very friendly, we enjoyed the breakfast in restaurant. We wish them much success.

First of all we had to wate in line at check in for half an hour because there was only one person working the front desk. The rooms were very clean, however they are out dated and the beds are like slabs of granite. They have a free breakfast in the morning they stop serving at 9:30 But you better show up by 8:45 because the server begins to put stuff […] away at 9:20 and you can forget about getting waffles at that point. The foyer is beautiful, but the rooms need up dating but very, clean. The curtains had being left open so the room was really hot, and it took awhile for the air con to kick in. Breakfast very basic a toaster would of being nice, and some normal teabags, not everyone drinks coffee or herbal tea. Staff is very helpful. They happily moved us to a room on the back side of the hotel which was quieter, with less light shining in at night, and had better WIFI reception. The beds sagged badly in the middle. There was no hotel guide in the room to show the layout of the hotel, and area restuarants. The service in the restuarant was very slow and only two other people were in when we were. Food was not very good and again, very slow for 8:30 at night! The continental breakfast was ok. There was a bowl of ceral sitting in front of the cerals, full of milk, that nobody touched the entire 30 min I was there. Many of the bowls to use were dirty! Chef and waitress were extremely nice! I spoke with a man and his child from Simms, who LOVE coming to the Copper King to play in the pool, and mingle with the kind people.

Our room overlooked the pool (which was green with some sort of issue that the town swore was not dangerous). So, the room reeked of chlorine which gave me a headache, was very humid and we got to listen to other people's little brats yelling and screaming until after pool closing time at 10:00pm. Because the pool is open from 8:00AM - 10:00PM, we also […] got to listen to maintenance cleaning the pool and surrounding area starting at 6:45AM!! Every time the air conditioner turned on (it was not working when we checked in so someone had to come fix it), it made loud creaking noises and sounded like it was about to fall through the ceiling onto our bed. Needless to say, there was not a lot of sleep to be had. The entire hotel decor is extremely outdated and not welcoming. The hotel is located several miles off the highway and not near anything. The front desk was busy when we arrived and it took about 1/2 hour to check in. We were given the key to the wrong room. Thank goodness there was a "do not disturb" sign on the door when we got there so we were spared some embarrassment. Warning #1: The Copper King Hotel has numerous rooms which have back doors to the indoor pool area. They are not sealed or sound-proofed, and let "every" recreational sound come into your room to disturb your peace and quiet. Warning # 2: The bathrooms have no "powered" ventilation systems, and all bathroom and sleeping area ductwork is caked in dust/mold/mildew. […] Watch out if you are sensitive to such allergens! The door to my hotel room did not close properly. Someone entered my room and stole my purse and several other items. The hotel staff (including a manager) were extremely uncaring and one even went so far as to be confrontational about the situation. This is a great, remodeled older hotel. The room was not fancy but clean and comfortable. My kids loved the pool - especially the water slide. Free breakfast served in a little cafe was great and actually real breakfast food unlike some continental breakfasts.

Was very impressed with the decor depicting the areas rich history. The room was nice, my only reccommendation would be to have the option of softer beds and pillows for those with neck and back problems.

The Coppre King Inn is very clean. The rooms have fixtures from the 1990s but are well maintained. The staff for the most part is helpful. The breakfast was a nice surprise. The AC went out in the hotel one evening so it was a hot night, but they had it fixed by the next morning. The water slide and pool were a lot of fun for the entire family.
