This was a quick overnight stay on our way home. The bathroom smelled of urine but appeared to be clean. The heater in the room kept cutting off even though it was cold/snowing. The night desk worker was very polite and extremely helpful however, her manager (who worked the day shift) was not. The hotel is right across the street from a very good bar restaurant in Joliet. Convenience was great! Clean. Service was fast with the check in. Saw older individuals having the continental breakfast in the morning. Made me feel there wasn't too much riff raff there. I will go again. In fact, this place may be a first choice.

This hotel is very run down and all the items in the room are screwed into the wall. Light went out in bathroom in the morning while showering. The iron board looked like it was in a fight. Hotel reeks of body ordor! Will never stay here again! Disgusted!!

I stayed here after reading the reviews and needless to say I was highly disappointed. Pros: Sleeping and Showering was okay Cons: Hot tub and some breakfast appliances(waffle maker etc...) were out of order. Pool needed to be cleaned, carpets were stained and needed replaced and smoking/non smoking rooms were next to each other. With the 100+ temps outside, it was glorious to have a room where the a/c worked very well. Although it is the common practice of most hotels, I think it would be very gratifying to know that the carpet had been vacuumed and even shampooed recently. The room smelled like a wet animal. The bedding only had a sheet and blanket. We had to ask for a comforter. No waffle mix for breakfast. Only a few bagels. And the wake up call was asked for at check in but they did not call making us late for sporting event I would not recommend. Next time will pay the ten dollars more for a nicer hotel.

Stayed at this hotel one night while visiting my niece in the hospital. Looked for the best price in area and that is what I got. Rooms need updating and definately the blanket and bedspreads. Felt uncomfortable with location, wish I had paid extra money to stay on the other side of the street, hotels looked better.

One of the locks on the hotel room door was broken. Since it was a secondary lock I didn't bother complaining. When I got up and went down for breakfast Monday morning, there was no sign of breakfast or anyone at the counter to ask about it. I packed up, and headed out, still no one to talk to at the counter for check-out so left the keys on the counter […] and left. The hotel is typical of the class. The pool area does not have an adults only time, so the noise level prevented relaxing in the hot tub. Our room was not cleaned on second day. Got back too late at night to care. The bed was extremely firm, absolutely not a pillow top mattress. It felt like we were sleeping on a carpeted floor.
