Location definitely met our needs as we were visiting family member at Tucson Med Ctr. As far as the quality of the hotel, if I was visiting for vacation or other reasons I would probably not stay there. Also had a recliner in the room which worked out good for my husband because the Beds were too stiff.... would have been a perfect stay if the beds had been more comfortable...

I was stunned to be notified at check in that I had to pay a 75 dollar security deposit. I've never had to do that at any place I've ever stayed. Spent two nights, so no room cleaning was provided.Very clean when we arrived and smelled nice. Two desk clerks were friendly,one wasn't. One on the phone when verifying the room wasn't very friendly or helpful. Wouldn't guarantee nonsmoking or room location (away from street.) Nice large room.

I WAS TRULY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS HOTEL STAY. I DO NOT EXPECT MUCH FROM A LOW NIGHTLY RATE HOTEL SO ROOM AS A WHOLE WAS NOT AN ISSUE. MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE FIRST ISSUE I HAD WAS WHEN I ARRIVED FOR CHECK IN. AFTER WAITING FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES A MAN FINALLY CAME FROM THE BACK WITH THE ATTITUDE THAT I WAS BOTHERING HIM. […] AND TOLD ME I HAD TO COME BACK AFTER 3 TO CHECK IN AS THE HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED. NOT A PROBLEM EXCEPT HIS ATTITUDE. I CAME BACK LATER TO CHECK IN AND THE WOMAN AT THE DESK WAS A LITTLE MORE POLITE. AFTER I WENT TO MY ROOM I FOUND THAT THE OUTLET IN THE BATHROOM WAS NOT FUNCTIONING, I TRIED TO RESET THE BREAKER AND IT DID NOT HELP SO I CALLED THE FRONT DESK FOR ASSISTANCE. THE ANSWER I RECEIVED WAS SORRY I WILL PUT IT ON THE REPAIR LIST AND MAINTENANCE PERSON WOULD NOT BE THERE UNTIL MONDAY. I WAS THERE ON SAT FOR ONE NIGHT HOW DOES THIS HELP ME? The picture is nothing like it no couch like in the pic the room was real small the room was dirty. They left dirty towels hanging from bathroom door. Overall, I had a good experieince staying at Extended Stay in Tucson. The kitchen was great with very clean pots and pans in excellent condition. There could have been more utensils, plates, bowls, etc. though. The full size refrigerator/freezer was wonderful! The heating and cooling system for my room was not consistant and I had to keep switching […] from cool to heat to get a comfortable temperature. When we got to the room and opened the door, it smelled "musty". The bed was a king size, but the blanket on the bed was meant for a double bed. There was no remote for the flat panel TV; when I called the front desk the gentleman told me he had ONE left that "should" work. That "ONE" didn't, and when I asked for another one he produced another one […] and guaranteed me it would work. It didn't, so we spent the entire weekend manually turning the television on and off, and manually changing channels. The room itself was okay, save for the musty smell. When I checked out, they had to inspect the room in order for my deposit to be refunded. The gentleman told me everything was fine and he would release my deposit. Choose a room away from highway noise if you need to rest, & are used to quiet neighborhoods. The rooms on the back seem to be nicer, carpets newer and cleaner.
