Having a kitchen was a lifesaver for a couple of budget travelers like us. The only issue we had with this apartment was attempting to call the the hotel to get keys: I either kept entering the number wrong or did not understand the options given to me. Thankfully another couple was also waiting and were able to get through (after some more difficulty). The neighborhood wasn't the greatest to stay in, but it was definitely close enough to city center for us.

Yes, it's a hostel and not a hotel. Usually 4 to a room. Clean. Center of Oslo. Easy to get to everything: public transportation, restaurants, tourist sites, etc. Receptionist even made me a breakfast to go since I had to leave early to catch a train.

Overall the hotel was a pleasant surprise compared to the relatively cheap price for Oslo. The hotel is located at the outskirts of the city (ring 3) near a hospital. The center is easily accessible by a tram that stops 5m from the hotel entrance (the ride is about 20 min). The young man at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with all our needs. Both the room size and the breakfast were much better than what we got at the Gardermoen Airport Hotel, that costed 50% more.

Really great place with a good price. It is a little difficult to find. The bus/tram station in Heimdals gata located around the corner from the apartments. Look for a small red and white sign on the side of a building. To get to the apartments, you go through a walkway. The apartments are located on the otherside (riverside NOT streetside). Very modern, comfortable, and nice. Our dishwasher door did not open but that was a minor detail. We would certainly stay here again.

The hotel is in a convienient location and there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. It's also located very close to the Drammen train station. Despite the location, the hotel itself is a dump. I'm very used to "European Hotel Standards" and this hotel is way below the norm, even for Europe. It's in dire need of remodling - The rooms […] have stains everywhere; the furniture is old and worn (It actually looks like they've probably bought furniture from other hotels that were remodling and fitted it to the rooms); the wallpaper is peeling; the carpet in the hallways is coming up and the bath products were 1/2 used. I was afraid to sit on the 2 chairs in the room and put towels down before sitting. There are also misleading statements in the overall hotel description: The restaurant is only open for breakfast; there is no room service; you cannot have an iron brought to your room (When I asked, I was brought 2 hangers and then told they do not bring irons to the room, there is one on the 4th floor of another wing for guest use - At the opposite end of the hotel from where my room was) and the mini bar was empty. All in all, I was counting the nights until we checked out - My suggestion, stay somewhere else! Read more

It is very close to the train station which makes it quite handy. It was located within walking distance to sites that I had to visit so it was extremely well placed for me. WiFi access great! Breakfast is good but could be monotonous if staying there for a few days. No choice for persons with special diets, like non dairy or non pork products.

The hotel is in need of some serious TLC and the rooms are okay if a bit worn out. We choose this hotel as it seemed to be one of the few in Drammen where free room wi-fi was available. Although the reception area is nice and staff, there is no way this is a 4* hotel. The rooms are 2.5* maximum and are very small. The rooms are only for sleeping I think as they are claustrophobically small and the toilet/shower is like a hostels. I have stayed in many 4* hotels and they have been a step above this, especailly Radisson's and Hilton's. Detta var en ren affärsresa och därför var det sen ankomst och tidig utcheckning. Frukost serverades inte förrän 06.30 och jag var tvungen att åka just 06,30...så jag blev utan frukost. Den hade säkert varit perfekt som den brukar.

Hotellet ligger meget tæt på stationen. Bla. kører flytoget dertil på en time fra lufthavnen. Værelserne er meget pæne og rene. Synd der ikke er enten minibar eller elkoger, men det er og muligt at hente te og kaffe ved restaurenten. Der er ca 10 minutters gang til centrum.

Et litt under snittet opphold. Servicen var grei, men dressjakke og singlet på karen bak skranken ble litt vel casual. Rommet var svært mørkt, det trekker ned. Lå nede i en krok halveis vendt mot et annet rom. Men romslig og rent. Grei frokost

Kom til hotellet med min ordrebekreftelse fra Hotels.com. Bestillingen viste et dobbeltrom med to senger. Det var ingen ledige og vi ble henvist til en SOVESAL med tre senger. Komforten var som å være på Hospits/Herberge. Vi ble fort minnet på tiden i ungdommen da vi bodde på denne måten når vi var på speiderleir. Bortsett fra dette var det meste OK. Er flott hotell kun et par minutters gange fra togstasjonen. Jeg var der fra en lørdag til søndag i julebord-sesongen, og deg var noe støy fra restauranten. Utenom det har jeg ingenting å utsette på hotellet. Enkelt-rommet var stort nok til en person, fantastisk seng og det var rent. God frokost.

Hei, det var en stor skuffelse. Fikk rom i annekset, og standarden der var forsåvidt godkjent på rommet. Men: internett virker ikke, og fikk ikke kontakt med respesjonen gjennom telefonen. Måtte tilslutt ringe hovednr med egen mobil. Da jeg skulle gå til rommet på kvelden, ville ikke hoveddøren åpne seg og vi var flere som stod og ventet på at en securitasvakt […] skulle komme. Ved gjentatte henvendelser til resepsjonen, kontaktet de ikke noen, men sa at denne securitasmannen skulle nok komme forbi snart. Bestilte pinnekjøtt i restauranten. Det var bare slintrer. Oppholdet var veldig bra, men for ukjente så var det lett å havne i heisen som gikk til kjøkkenet, dette burde skiltes mye bedre, alle heisene var like.

Ble veldig skuffet under frokosten,hele tiden gikk personalet og ryddet av bordet mens vi spiste,det ble veldig urolig.Ang.parkering.betalte kr.450.00 for 3 døgn.

Det var kjempe opphold, blide resepsjonister som var tilgjengelige og hyggelige under hele oppholdet. Det eneste vi ikke var 100% fornøyd med at sengen var to enkeltsenger, mens vi hadde bestilit en dobbelseng, noe som var litt ubehagelig + at renholdet var ikke 100% heller.
