the Excalibur offers a meal wristband....from 7AM to 10PM, for $29.00 a day, unlimited food and drink, just show your wristband. If you just ate the buffet 2 meals, it pays for itself.....so a third meal, dessert break or just refreshments....is worth it. I guess a lot of casinos are offering this now, it keeps the guests inside! it is convenient, we used it.

Paying for Resort fees in the winter, pool is not an option to cold, the internet did not work, it took about 3 hours for the computer guy to come up to mess with the box. When you walk through the hotel it is cold, no bath tubs, the water took a long time to warm up. We all hung out at New York New York, because it warm and cozy. Positive things, the bed was comfortable and the bell boys, front desk people were great!

I loved the looks of the hotel, the beds were very comfortable. It did take a while for the staff to bring me extra pillows, but they were real comfortable. The front desk connected us to different dance places for us to find out what times they closed & what the cover charges were. When we needed directions to get to different casinos the staff was very helpful to get us there. My friend & I would definately stay there again!

From my window I could see much of the strip. Heating was a bit loud and didn't work all that well. TV was good but somewhat hard to manuever into what you wanted. Could always use more channels but had more than some hotels I have been too. Didn't know on the 2nd floor there were actually shops to shop in, found them by mistake but the food court is pretty good. Try the all day buffet, good food for the price. Sherwood Forest $5 specials from 2-6 pm were really good and more than enough food and the servers were good and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Excaliber 10 years ago and expected a dump this visit. But the check-in was fast and courteous, the room was large, quiet, and clean. I was on the fifth floor of tower one. Yes they charge a $8.40 resort fee over the prepaid room amount. A great deal to be at the perfect corner of the strip.

I stayed at the Excalibur 11-27-09 to 11-30-09. Overall the casino was good I liked the location to the strip. The actual hotel room was horrible. Originally I book a standard room which probably would have been better than the upgrade I paid for to the widescreen room. I wasted 92 dollars plus change for the upgrade. Both queen beds had holes in the sheets and one had some kind of stain. There was fresh gum stuck to the carpet by the window. The cheap snap on drapes were stained with some kind of liquid. The dresser was scratched up and one of the handles was broken. The 42 inch Philips plasma had the worst picture and was not set up with HD, most of the channels were scratchy or fuzzy. There were four lights in the restroom but only two worked. The shower head was corroded with hard water stains. They couldn’t even plug in a lamp correctly I had to do it. The best part of the room was the high granite countertop in the restroom along with the sink. I would not recommend the upgrade unless you have a chance to preview it. You will probably be better off staying in the standard room or another hotel for that matter. Good luck and happy hotel finding!!!

The hotel was quite dirty, both in our room and in the common areas. The bathroom and elevator area was especially unkempt. There was either ketsup or blood splatter by the elevator. Our bathroom was smudgy and the floor dirty. The furniture in the room was ratty looking. I realize the room rate was low, but I think Excalibur could provide better housekeeping and maintenance.

You need to think twice when you get into an inexpensive room. The room was "stuffy", poor air circulation, it felt dirty and dry. The bathroom smelled bad, the bathroom fan was extremely noisy. The carpet was dirty. My son's socks turned dirty within a couple of hours. As soon as you walk in the hotel you are approached with people offering you "free tickets". We fell in the trap. The young man at the counter explained we would be getting tickets for Lance Burton with a value of 60 to 70 dollar value each if we attended a 2 to 3 tour of a new development for "time sharing". To make a long story short, it ended up being close to 5 1/2 hours!!! we ended up with 30 dollar tickets that placed us in the balcany almost in the back row, where the show was almost impossible to see eventhough we obtained our tickets with many hours ahead of time. The buffet is very expensive and not worth it either. the bread was stale, the meat very hard and dry.

After finding out the room did not contain a lock box and it had not been cleaned from the previous guest, we decided to try another room. The next room located on the 7th floor in tower 1 had a lock box and was indeed clean. The hotel room had the basic necessities (i.e. TV, bed, linens, small table, bathroom w/shower). Internet access has a fee. Hotel location is great.
