Non smoking room smelled like an ashtray and comforter had cigarette burns. Walls were dirty and and had one big hole in it. Hair dryer was missing. Only bright spot was that it had a pool but of course it was closed for remodeling.

If we hadn't been so tired from being at an amusement park all day and then driving for 3hrs. we would have walked away. We booked a non-smoking room and when we opened our door the stench of smoke overwhelmed us. The room seemed clean otherwise but we were afraid to get under the sheets. I thought the bed was comfortable but my wife disliked it. My […] kids didn't seem to care either way. The continental breakfast was a gallon of milk sitting in a tray of ice with a gallon of OJ. The donuts looked like they went to the local convenience store and bought a couple of packages of Dolly Madisons. The only good thing I can say is the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. They were doing a little remodeling but stayed away from guests' room. The swimming pool was closed when we arrived but I talked to the owner/manager and he got it running the second day we were there so my girls could swim. They didn't clean our room until I asked them to which I really like cause I'm the guy that likes a little privacy. There was […] someone there 24 hours a day for towels and was cloths, that's nice since they didn't restock our room everyday, again I like the privacy. Our TV quit working the first night but no worries we had a new one in like 5 minutes. Overall was a great place to stay and I will definitely be staying there again next year if the price is the same. Read more

The hotel was ok..Nothing fancy but clean and cheap..The front desk lady was stressed out..There was one couple in front of us and she was overworked when she got to us...Also, needed extra towels and the cleaning lady was rude...The staff was not friendly or helpful at all..

We thought the rates were good, and your front desk help was real nice, we were very upset with the condition of the bathroom, (a very molded shower curtain) it was rather gross and had to be pulled apart so that we could use it, and the toilet had poop left in it that had not been cleaned. Then when we came back to the room the second night nothing […] had been done except the towels had been removed, so we knew they had been in the room. The trash was over flowing and the beds had not even been touched. We were not at all happy and will probably never stay there again, and we visit the area quite often. Read more

Bed was comfortable, but pillows were small and limited. Only sheets and bedspread provided. Asked for blanket, but they could only provide additonal sheets. Sheets were clean but beadspread was not. I paid for a non-smoking room with a king size bed, there were 5 available when I booked the room. Upon arriving was given a room with 2 queen size beds. Was not informed until after I went back to the desk to inquire that there were no kings available, and that I could that it up with the manager in the morning. The room that I was given had a low […] pitched humming which made sleep impossible. I asked to be moved to another room and was moved with no problem. This room was adequate given the circumstance. In the Morning I asked the manager about why there were no kings available when I checked in for when I had booked there where 5. I was told that all the kings sized beds were taken by "long term" renters and that Expedia doesn't update their website. She would do nothing to make it right and told me that the queen size beds were the same size as a king but not as wide. She was very unprofessional and contuined to hold a crying baby in her arms instead of finding someone who could take the baby and deal with the problem at hand. She show me no respect. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

When entering the hotel I slipped on a wet floor. There were 4 women at the front desk, not one asked if I was ok nor did they even acknowlege that we were there. We stood at the counter in front of them for a good two minutes before anyone decided to take care of us. Then the coffee pot had old, moldy coffee in it. There's nothing fancy about this hotel, but it was cheap and was decent for the few nights we needed it. If you are willing to spend double and stay at holiday in express, then you should consider, but overall it worked for the weekend.
