Trust the reviews...this place was nasty! I thought maybe everyone else just has higher expectations of a cheap hotel (I mean, it's super cheap, how great can you expect it to be?) but even going into this place with LOW expectations, we where thoroughly disgusted! The phone had dried crusty pizza sauce on it and everything else just felt/looked grimey! […] My husband (the one who insisted we find a place that served continental breakfast) wouldn't even let our kids go near the food as the cereal was kept in tupperware containers rather than being individually boxed (so who knows how fresh/sanitary that is!) We were going to the Dells to stay at Chula Vista resort for two nights but we decided to book another (cheap) hotel to make it a three night vacation and we really regreted choosing this place! Pay the $15-$20 more to get at least a 3 star place! Read more

This was a horrible stay the tub had nasty green powder in it after use broken window refrigerator didn't work called the front desk for extra pillows they had none then asked for extra blankets the lady said she'll bring them down then they gave them to another room was not worth my stay and money!!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I were just stopping in to get some sleep. The staff was cheerful and helpful even at the late hour we arrived. The room was less than desirable. It was dusty and the beds only had two extremely flat pillows. There were no extras to be had in the entire hotel. Needless to say we did not get much sleep.

The beds were 'soft' and 'uncomfortable'...pillows were flat. The hotel provided 'soap' & 'shampoo' dispensers that were empty, and only in the shower...none at the sink. We had one morning where there was no hot water.The continental breakfast was 'non-existant'....it seemed that there was 'nothing' available...bread/muffins....jelly was 'rubbery' […] like it was old...a long line at the waffle machine (which was old) because there was no 'none stick spray' and the waffles were sticking and some were raw. So a lot of product was thrown away. There wasn't any fruit...no pastry. The pool was closed most of the time...no heat in the pool area. This hotel is so close to the Crystal Grand Theater, that is why I booked it. Needless to say that is the only thing good about it. The staff at the hotel were very good. This was the best thing about the hotel. Pool area smelled like urine, looked like the cleaning was being half done do to some construction. The drawers in the dresser needed wiping out and the fridge had melted ice cream all over it. The room was very quiet and the beds were pretty good.

I got a great deal on the room in Wisconsin Dells. We left one of the waterparks but wanted to spend more time in the Dells without the cost. Horrible! I have never had such a bad hotel. There was a mouse in my room, no hot water, I had a moldy shower curtain, my ice bucket was dirty and sticky, there wasn't much breakfast left cuz they don't keep it stocked the whole time, I requested a wake up call n never got it, and I had to ask them to turn on the power in my room.

Room was comfortable. Back door had debris from dumpster and used mattresses that need to go to dump. Pool area. Had a rusted vent in ceiling with dust hanging down. Room had lights that didn't work and a broken table.otherwise, staff was friendly, rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was prompt and fresh.

overall it was average, The bed had no mattress pad or fitted sheet just a regular sheet that didnt stay on.Side entrance had stacks of old mattresses on the lawn and broken bikes. It needs help. Our room had a jetted tub which was great the first night, but the second night it did not work. :( Was for my husband's birthday so he was not happy. They said our bed was brand new but it had two top sheets, not one bottom fitted, so they did not stay on the bed. The cont'l breakfast was only bagels so was disappointing as well. At check in I had to ask the guy at the front desk about the water park passes that came with my stay which I felt I shouldn't have to do that. There was garbage bags broken open by the rear entrance; the pool was closed; the door to our room wouldn't smoothly open or shut- had to kick it shut and open; the juice machine for the continental breakfast was broke 2 out of 5 days; the resort workers who were living there propped the security doors open 24/7; would not recommend.... if it could […] be wrong it was. First the pool was out of commission so we were given wrist bands for a different place which was very far. We never did use them because they were so inconvenient. Next we get to our room- One burnt out bulb over the table and chair (we were to stay three nights and like our family games at night), sink was slow to drain, lock on the bathroom door […] was on the outside, the bathroom door didn't swing open and shut smoothly at all (it got stuck half way), walls were paper thin (I could clearly hear the man next door while I was trying to sleep), tv was a 19" old style (not flat), there were no fitted sheets just flat ones that didn't even reach the head of the mattress, each queen only had the two pillows, and I wasn't aware it didn't have a fridge or microwave which in itself is bad but to not have a coffee maker?! (not to mention hair dryer, iron/board, or even lotion). Then you have the rest of the place- hallways stunk, the one microwave in the common area was FILTHY!!! Machine empty at times (ice machine, coffee pot, milk and juice). The continental breakfast was a joke- one waffle machine, cereal, white bread (toaster), one day there were bagels (woo hoo!), maybe apples and the drinks which kept running out. The staff were wonderful however! They probably felt like they needed to be considering the place. We were given tickets to Mt Olympus but I still feel we were overcharged. A lot of little things wrong....holes in towels, no room service after first night...sink faucet loose and could be pulled out!! Shower faucet plumbed backwards, either hot or cold, no mixing!! Pool closed for repairs, looked like bad mold problems. Oh well, won't be gong back there.

Travelodge was sub-standard. Room was clean, staff was friendly for the most part. There were two questionable employees when it came to providing good customer service...they lacked the ability. The sheets on the beds kept coming off, there weren't enough towels in the rooms. My in-laws phone didn't work and the walls were left obviously half painted […] in both rooms.
