When we checked in, we were given a room with a view of the limo parking lot. When we questioned a better view, we were told they had no other rooms available ( the parking lot never had more than 10 cars during our entire stay.) The hot water took 10 minutes to get to the shower, the ice machines were not working, and the front desk would not even print a "boarding pass" for us. All in all, the staff was very unhelpful. The hotel was clean enough & the location was very nice.

This hotel is past its prime, but I got a good rate (half of what a nearby hotel was charging), everything worked and was clean, and the room was huge (try to get a room in the 300s). It's not a fit if you want a resort weekend, but if you're looking for an affordable place to sleep and shower in a convenient Long Beach location, don't pass this one up.

To start; in a hot day after traveling for 4 hours, you want some ac but you know what, the ac doesn't work. Fortunally you can take cold showers because this place doesn't believe in hot water. Fortunally is easy to find the restroom just by the smell of it. And when you try to present you complain to the manager . Well they do not care because you already paid with you credit card and is nothing they can do about. No even an apology. And if you are a busy person with a short schedule like I had well you just have to stay and hope to leave that place real soon.

The Seaport Marina is not a hotel that I would reccommend to anyone visiting Long Beach. The hotel is old and is in desperate need of remodeling. Before booking on Hotels.com, I called the hotel to see if they offered a military discount. When I told her thank you, but that I was going to book online to get a better price, she hung up on me! Thankfully, when I checked in, a different woman working at the counter was much more friendly. The only reason I chose to stay at the Seaport Marina Hotel was because my favorite nightclub is right next door, so I didn't have to worry about driving. The rooms are so gross that you have to have a few drinks to be able to sleep in those beds!

Great room for the money, and if you don't intend to do much more than sleep there. Also, while wireless internet is available, it comes with some odd fees. It was a little inconvenient to downtown Long Beach, or Seal Beach, but it wasn't a horrible drive to either spot. The employees I ran into weren't overly friendly, but I admit we spent little time needing too much information or interaction with them.

Our comment is not so much about the hotel, but about YOUR directions to the hotel!! We were coming from the south on I 405. After going all the way to L.A Intn'l Airport (your directions said the hotel was 6.5 miles south of the airport) we now headed south on the 405 and it was 26.5 miles before we finally made it to the hotel ie. approx. 53 miles out of our way. Plus you did not list a phone # for the hotel. It would be wise to provide directions coming from the south on 405. The hotel was ok. But, I'm not sure about you guys!! Especially with the price of gas now. Thanks for nothing.

We have stayed in some great motels and some dumps but we have never stayed in one where the staff didn't seem to give a damn if you were satisfied or not. Until now. At this motel(which calls itself a Hotel??) the room we were in, though very spacious and seemingly clean (though the rug could have used some attention) was in a very outdated, tired condition. It looked as if at one time someone had tried to pry the door open. The TV was an old 19" with terrible color and the remote had no volumne control buttons, nor did there seem to be any volume controls on the TV! There was NO coffee pot set up and when we asked about getting one we were told that one was not available but they said on their unfriendly little notice of charges for items stolen, that they would charge $50 or $75? to replace one if you stole it, as non-existant as it was in the room. The 2nd morning we found that Housekeeping had left a note under the door that they had tried to contact us repeatedly to service the room, Hello not true. That is when we found out that the phone didn't work when we tried to call them to come and clean the room, so we stopped by the desk on our way out for the day and they told us that they may or may not have the room cleaned for us before we came back. What the hell?? we left for the day BEFORE the official check out time of 12:30 when if we were leaving, the room would be available to be cleaned. We notified the desk of phone and TV problems on our way out for the day and then while we were gone they DIDN'T send anyone to fix it. When we got back there was still NO working phone, No tv remote with volume control. The room had been cleaned but there were no hand towels left for us and with a pool close by they left us only one bath towel and one washcloth each. At 5:30 pm my husband went to the office again to complain about the phone and the TV and the handiman finally came by. He fixed the phone and told us that he would have to get us a different TV then l
