This hotel had great staff: friendly & informative. The hotel itself is run down. The equipment in the exercise room did not work. Clock in the pool area did not work. Carpets were worn. On the positive side, breakfast was satisfactory and the room was clean. Eateries were close by.

The smell of the this hotel and the rooms was the most awful smell ever! I had to spray perfume all over the room to stop myself from gagging! Creepy, creepy place.

Usually, I have a great experience with this hotel brand, but my stay at this hotel was crazy from the start. First, they couldn't find my reservation, then they gave me a room that wasn't made up and was apparently undergoing some sort of maintenance. The room I ended up in was fine. It was clean and comfortable and I have no issues, except that there […] was no coffee pot, which I gather was the situation in all the rooms. That's just weird. It appears the housekeeping staff is either short-staffed or management doesn't care. Anyway, the young woman at the desk was very kind, but it turned out that she charged my credit card for the full amount of the room even though my reservation was paid for in advance. This set into motion several costly issues for me because my budget was extremely tight at that time. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again unless they are under new management. Room was clean and comfortable. However you have to use a stairway to get to a room on the second floor because there is no elevator. Also the blow dryer and coffee pot did not work. Didn"t care for the room deorderant.

How disappointing! I booked 2 rooms for family members on our way to Colorado for a family reunion. My 2 grandsons and I used one room. On our way to our room after checking in...we ran into some hotel employees cleaning rooms and standing out in the hall way. They were cussing and discussing their previous nights activities which was not something […] I wanted my grandsons to hear. The room was OK and the grandsons enjoyed the pool. BUT in the morning when we all...including my daughter and son in law who used the second room I reserved....went to the dining area to eat breakfast....we were met with an very disgusting experence. The place was FILTHY!!!!! There was food all over the floor and none of the tables were wiped off from previous guests. We would not use the waffle maker because it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a year! No way would you want to use it!!! The crock pot that the gravy (for biscuits & gravy) was in was equally unappetizing looking. There was a couple of pieces of fruit available but no bananas at all on site. The health department would close this place down if they came to inspect. I wuld never stay at that Comfort Inn again!!! Read more
