Good stay, especially considering the renovation in progress. I had an older room but it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was standard buffet fare,... well prepared. This part of Houston an odd mix of offices, old apartments, eateries and a few "adult clubs" by JP from Dallas on 05/02/13

The A/C is less than adequate which is an issue in Texas heat. A block and a half from Ruth's Chris in one direction and a block and a half from a strip joint in the other direction.

My room had lots of issues. I mentioned these to the desk and they didn't respond over a 4 day stay. Light bulb right over the door out and they didn't replace it. A/C leaked so BAD it created a wet area on the rug in front of the closet that never dried. The bathroom door was heavy and had swollen from all the humidity/moisture so it was hard to close. The location of this hotel was by all kinds of restaraunts and not far from the galleria! Room was nice and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of different choices! I would return.

An earlier reviewer who complained about the coffee maker in the room must not have read the instructions as it did not require a carafe.
