Let's start with no bath towels in the room. I was told that i would need to come to the front desk to get them--kind of difficult when you just got out of the shower. The room looked and smelled dirty--the carpet obviously needs to be replaced or cleaned. The sleeper sofa is a medevial toruture device--the mattress is so thin that the frame is in your […] back. There were enough pillows the bed-but-not the sleeper sofa--we were told that no more were available. The blankets in the room were thin and looked as if they were purchased at a garage sale--filthy. I searched for the coffee pot and found it in the dishwasher--all the coffee cups were dirty--had to wash by hand. This place is awful and not worth the price. Stay away! Read more

We had a great stay here. The first thing we notices was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was very spacious and very clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is one of the only hotels in the area that offers an actual bedroom door to separate the living room and kitchen from the bedroom, which is really important to us traveling with our young children who go to bed early and sleep lightly. The curtains completely blackout the room, which is really nice for sleeping during the day. The full size fridge, […] microwave, stove, and dishwasher are nice, but there is no oven. I wish they supplied hand dish soap since there are only 2-3 of each dish stocked in the room (all of them don't even come close to filling a dishwasher load). There was food and dirt on the door handles and walls when we arrived, the counter top was filthy....but since I bring Lysol and cleaner with me to hotel rooms since our kids were hospitalized from a seemingly clean suite last year after catching rotavirus, it wasn't a big deal because I spend my first hour sanitizing any suite anyways. Sooo room 215 is REALLY clean right now. Our fireplace was broken, but we weren't expecting it and they gave us 4 free movie credits instead so we were happy with that (movies are $13-15 each). The couch folds out into a comfy full size bed. There are too many tables in the room but we managed to fit a roll away cot, pack n play, and fold out the sleeper sofa in the living room. It was tight, but did fit with walking room. There was a really nice view and breeze in our room, I liked opening up the windows for fresh air. I wish there was an exhaust fan, humidity builds quickly in TX and the A/C in this room seemed either to freeze you or you were too hot. Never just right. The staff makes this location WONDERFUL, they are so super friendly and kind...and their free breakfasts are good too! Overall, we were really happy with the hotel - would recommend for families or business travel, it was SO quiet in there during holiday week even. Read more
