"Great choice!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

"Good mid-price choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.
"2 nights in Vancouver."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"Impressions"
We loved our stay at this hotel, the front desk was very helpful. The room was very clean and cleaned daily with the change of sheets and towels, daily. We would like to suggest that the front carpet as the door opens be changed as it looked very dirty. First impressions are lasting sometimes. Overall, we'll be staying there again the next time we visit […] Vancouver, BC. Read more
"loved it!"
If you are looking for a reasonable room in a great location in downtown Vancouver- this place was great. Two downsides, first the room was very small, and second it is very close to Granville, so the bar crowd can be a little loud. If you can deal with those two issues, then you will love this hotel! We had a great time in Vancouver and would choose […] this hotel again for our next stay in Vancouver. We also found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful when we decided to extend our stay another day. Read more

"Comfort Inn, Down town Vancouver"
I would have liked to given a bad review so that the prices stay so low....We loved it, clean friendly, good food, comfortable. The outside of the building does not tell that story but the staff said that renovation is starting soon. We were pleasantly surprised when with condition of the Inside.
"Comfort Inn, Vancouver, B.C. Nelson Street"
I have stayed at this hotel 4 times and had a wonderful trip. I am from Cambridge, MA. and love this hotel especially the Irish pub breakfast and the nice people of Vancouver. I plan to visit again every year.
"Comfort Inn - Downtown Vancouver"
Hotel is located right in Downtown...walking distance to stores, restaurants, etc. The only negative thing is that we reserved a room with 2 queen, the space was very tight and the walls were very thin. There was a few NFL games going on, therefore you can hear the people next door cheer. Overall, location is excellent.
"Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver"
The rooms are very small, and the staff is not the nicest. I have stayed in way nicer hotels around the area for alot cheaper.
"Great Location!"
Everything was within walking distance! Shopping, food, tourist sites, etc. Only place we drove was Stanley Park. Room was a bit small, but we didn't spend much time there anyway. Went up for NYE and we were right in the district with clubs/bars. Would not recommend for a family. Free parking also a plus! Would definitely stay here again.

It was very comfortable to stay here for few days. Good FREE Breakfast and right in the heart of downtown. Love the location!
"Comfort Inn, Nelson St, Vancouver BC Canada"
I stayed there two nights in early October 2011. I was traveling with my sister, niece and senior mother. It was our first time in Vancouver. It's an older building but the room was sealed very tight. We didn't hear any of the commotion in the street. The gentleman at the front desk was nice enough to put us on a higher floor without even asking for […] it. The room was clean and quiet. Everything worked properly. I would stay there again. "Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver- good value"
My wife and I arrived several hours ahead of the earliest check-in time, but the desk clerk expedited the cleaning of our room so we could change and head back out on our only day to explore the city. The desk clerk was also very helpful in suggesting sights to see and giving us directions on a city map. Room was very clean, though a bit small with […] two full beds, Should have reserved a single king sized bed to provide some extra room. The free breakfast was good too. The only complaint was the noise from the street below, even though we were on the fourth floor, but we were tired enough to sleep through most of it. Would stay there again on another trip due to the reasonable price of the room in a rather expensive city. Read more
"room with no view"
The hotel was clean, the staff helpful, the location convenient to entertainment section of the city- especially if you are young. Our room had a view of roof and our window did not lock properly.
"Overpriced"
Overpriced for the room I had. Noisy neighborhood.
"Met the Need"
Centrally located but the nightclub neighborhood provided lots of street noise in the very early morning. Running the HVAC fan helped. The breakfast is good and everything clean but room very small.
"Comfort Hotel downtown Vancouver BC"
The comforter on the beds was lumpy. It didn't make the comfort of the bed any less but it does look tacky. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. They were always there to order us a cab when needed, carried our luggage out to the cab. It was a pretty nice overnight stay.
"A Very Comfortable Comfort Inn"
Pros: the hotel and beds are very comfortable, good continental breakfast choices (served in Irish pub next door), great location, free internet, everything you need - and all of the staff were so kind and helpful. Cons: room smaller than expected, walls and doors paper-thin (could hear everything in hall and guy in next room's cell phone conversation). […] Also, at night, there is lots of noise from the street and partiers outside the Irish pub. However, this was made up for by the fact our chats (three women friends) were probably louder than anyone else's (sorry). Also, I was super tired at night from work, so slept fine despite street noise. Read more

"Comfort Inn - Granville & Nelson"
The staff and service are top notch. Can't beat free wifi and free breakfast. Also the hotel is located right in the centre of all the action and not far from any attraction you want to visit while in Vancouver. But be sure not to get stuck with a room near the elevator. Whenever it is operated, it will make your room rumble. Also beware of the attached […] Irish Pub. Sometimes the patrons spill over to the room area and can be loud. Read more
"My stay at the Comfort Inn"
A great placet o stay, very clean and very comfortable, right in the heart of downtown, connected to an Irish pub, a definite plus!! nice continental breakfast also, would definitely stay there again, highly recommended. Very nice staff also.
I was very dissapointed with my stay at this hotel. My room was on the first floor and I was not informed that the noise from the live band in the bar on the first floor would travel up to my room. I had an early morning so went to bed early and as soon as I had gotten into bed, the live band started up. The noise was so loud that I could hear some […] of the vibrations in my bed. I called the front desk and they found an alternate room for me but it was quite the inconvenience and I didn't find the staff to be too understanding or apologetic. On the other hand - the breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Read more

"Good hotel, great location"
The Quality hotel in downtown Vancouver is a great place to stay that won't break the bank. The room was nice and the bathroom was huge with a very nice jacuzzi tub. The staff was friendly and helpful enough and the included breakfast was very good. The location was the best part. It's right in the middle of anything you'd want to be near in Vancouver, […] and very close to the SkyTrain to the airport, which is the fastest and cheapest way to get there. Read more
"Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver"
Pros: Very quiet. I was on the 2nd floor and there is a bar downstair and i still did not hear anything. Walking distance to a lot of attractions (mall, train, art gallery, resturants, clubs etc.) It took less than 2 mins to get a taxi cab. Great price. Cons: the room is very small. I had a queen size been and the room wasn't much bigger than a queen […] size bed. If a king size been was in that same room, i would have very little room to move around. Read more

"okay room for the money"
The rooms were small but clean. The view from our window was not the best, maybe a street side room would have been better. The breakfast was real good and having the parking lot next to the motel was nice.
"Comfort In Dowtown"
Had no problem checking in early. They upgraded me to a room with a jacuzzi for free. Breakfast is awesome. Best contiental breakfast ever. Donuts, do it yourself waffles, pancakes, coffee, cereal ect. Walking distance to a lot of places nearby. My only con was that they didn't have a shuttle to the airport. Most of the hotels in downtown don't have […] a shuttle to the airport. Read more

"Noise from Downstairs Pub"
The hotel itself is good value for money, but do ask to be moved if your room is on the first floor. When we stayed there we were directly above the bar (as is the entire first floor) and the music was so loud that items in our room vibrated right through to the early hours of the morning. We had friends staying on the second floor and they heard n […] othing. Read more
"Location couldn't be better!"
Perfect location! Theatre's are all close by, lots of shopping and pubs. Irish pub in the hotel was great! Easy to find. Close to a strip bar, which was a plus for my event. Only negative is the parking lot is a little sketchy but the hotel keeps the parking lot monitored, I didn't have any problems. I will stay here next time I have an event down […] town. Read more

"Comfy!"
Pleasantly surprised with the staff and hotel. I really felt like I got my money's worth. Convenient location - I was in Vancouver overnight for a concert and the venue was extremely close by. A complaint some may have is that the music in the club downstairs was pretty loud in my first floor room. It was a non-issue for me as I myself was up late enjoying […] the nightlife! Will definitely stay here again. Read more

"comfort Inn, 654 Nelson, Vancouver, BC"
Good value
"The Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver"
The hotel was very cozy. The front desk was very helpful in recommending restaurants, transportation, etc. My only criticism is the parking lot is outdoors and I was slightly concerned about my vehicle. Otherwise a great hotel at a great rate.
"Much better than expected"
Considering how little we paid for the room we did not expect much and were really surprised to see that we got a large and very clean room with mini-fridge and micro. The view over Vancouver from the room on the fifth floor was very good. The breakfast, which was included, was like an average continental breakfast. Wireless internet and parking also […] included. If you have an expensive car you should perhaps consider another parking as this is on a public parking spot just off the street and not in a garage. Read more
"close to the orpheum"
This hotel was close to the orpheum with parking and breakfast included. Can't complain at all.
"Comfort Inn - does its job"
The hotel is ok rooms are small ( I have a double room with 2 beds) elevator is super slow However the hotel provided parking for free Hotel is downtown and mins for all of the bars, conference centers, retsos I travel a lot 26 weeks out of the year and I can say its not the worst or the best but it will do. "Great Location!!!"
Our stay was great! I had my 30th Birthday Party in Vancouver and we stayed at the Confort Inn Downtown Vancouver. Great Location for all the events that were planned - very close to everything! Price was very reasonable, rooms kinda small but just right for two people. I would reccommed this hotel to anyone!
"Comfort Inn Vancouver - comfort and value"
excellent value for money.... parking and breakfast included... friendly staff... great service. loved the jacuzzi.. go for the business room.....
It's better if the room smells fresh
"Crappy building, great beds."
Booked this online as the rooms looked respectable and it also included breakfast, for cheaper than the best western and same area. When we arrived we were very hesitant and instantly regretted choosing the cheaper option. The building is quite old, bit run down and the lobby leaves a lot to be desired. Once we got up to the room, while it looked somewhat […] along the same lines, it certainly did the job. Then, once I felt how comfortable the beds were, I was completely sold. Great beds to rest on after a long haul flight with two young children! The breakfast was pretty rubbish but filled a hole and I wasn't exactly expecting anything spectacular. The kids loved the waffles. As we were leaving the lift broke down and we had to carry 10 suitcases down two flights of stairs by hand. Not ideal and kinda sums up the stay. I would not recommend it to others used to staying in fancy places, but I would stay there again, definitely good value when it included breakfast. Great location, comfey, clean. Read more
"Small but Clean"
Although the room was very small, it was also very clean and to me that is more important. The hotel is right off Granville Street which is in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Extremely convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful with our bags. If you're looking for an elegant room, this is not it. If you're looking for a clean room that is centrally […] located, this is what you are looking for. I would recommend. Read more
"Comfort Inn on Nelson - Downtown Vancouver"
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nites and found it comfortable, convenient, and quieter than expected. The room was a little small, but we had been upgraded to 2 queens (for 3 people) and a slightly larger room than the standard, which was a pleasant surprise. The regular rooms would have done, but would have been tight. It was very clean with the exception […] of the carpet, which had a couple of bad stains and was a little loose in spots. It probably should be replaced or professionally cleaned and restretched. One lamp bulb was burned out, so left the bulb on the desk and it was ignored. Also, one of the window locks was missing a part so couldn't be properly (tightly) latched, but would still have been impossible to open from the outside. The staff were friendly and helpful and the continental buffet style breakfast in the Irish Pub was fine. Considering the price and location, I would stay here again. Read more
