This hotel was just two short blocks from the Central Train station. We also thought the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend the hotel. The room was very spacious with living area and bedroom. Internet is available but keep in mind they charge for the access by the hour.

I love the location, the staff was extremely professional and courteous. My room was small but very well equipped, clean, quiet and comfy. I have been a loyal customer of the UNA Hotel chain throughout Italy for years.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Milan, this elegant hotel is 0.3 km (0.2 mi) from La Scala, 0.7 km (0.4 mi) from Piazza del Duomo, and 1 km (0.6 mi) from Castello Sforzesco.
Hotel Features.
The acclaimed Don Carlos restaurant pays homage to Maestro Giuseppe Verdi, who resided at the hotel for more than 20 years. Décor includes paintings, prints, photographs, and posters from La Scala Theatre Museum. Named after another famous guest, the Caruso restaurant serves Milanese cuisine with contemporary accents. Both restaurants offer outdoor seating in warm weather. A bar serves lunch, afternoon tea, and cocktails. The fitness center at Grand Hotel Et De Milan has floor-to-ceiling windows that admit abundant natural light.
Guestrooms.
Air-conditioned guestrooms are individually decorated with period furnishings, parquet floors, and Oriental rugs. Balconies provide city or courtyard views. Wireless Internet access is available.
