I was in Perth on business. This Comfort Inn was an extreme disappointment. It is a old hotel that has been maintained but never updated. The room was extremely small and the bed seemed less that a "single" size and was slanted. The bathroom and the room seemed like they were built in the 1950's. It was a very uncomdortabel sleeping experience.

On the day of my departure from Perth, I had a flight to Sydney late in the evening -- well after checkout time. The staff allowed me to take a shower before catching the bus to the airport. This was very helpful!

There is no free wireless like in many/most hotels. You had to pay for blocks of time and then enter both user and password codes each time you logged in. Even then the connection was slow and would often drop causing you to start your session all over again. For current internet standards this is not acceptable.

The lift wasn't working which was a problem with my room being up stairs. I stayed another night 12 days later and it still wasn't fixed which I thought was quite poor.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the Perth CBD and close to many pubs, restaurants and the shopping mall. Only issue was that at night the noise from the clubs was very loud - it kept us awake - very loud music and loud drunken people leaving the nightclubs. Excellent location. Murray street, just accross road to the perth train stn. loads of shops and literally next door to the moon and sixpence english styled pub. which has live music thurs-sat. just 10 mins walk to water. to be honest the age of the rooms spoils the stay. The room is a dull off colour. The bathroom was missing the top part of the glass. […] but Perth warm so no issues with cold. The shower was terrible. Never kept constant temp and was feeble. Asked for a quiet room - no other request - was given a room with an 18 inch to two feet wide exhaust fan directly outside my window this periodically produced a loud noise as it intermittently operated all night. The hotel did not seem to be fully booked but the desk person seemed uninterested in moving me despite my specific request

For the price it an good deal as it gives an excellent location with very friendly staff. The only drawback is the dated appearance of the rooms. Not withstanding this mine was clean and suitably equipped. You could pay double for a bit more luxury and a worse location

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum und hat dennoch einen im Vergleich zu Alternativen guten Preis. Es ist eines der wenigen erhaltenen alten Häuser im Zentrum. Moderne Ausstattung und Charm der alten Tage sind sehr schön miteinander verbunden. Wer allermodensten Luxus sucht, ist allerdings falsch. Aus meiner Sicht zu empfehlen.
