I requested a no smoking room. The bathroom had been smoked in. There was a hole burned into the bedspread. The tub was visibly dirty. When I complained, they told me I had a special rate.

I guess you get what you pay for. The ceiling looked like it had some water damage and was repaired without caring how it looked. The pillows were half the size of regular pillows. We went to get some breakfast at 7:00am and all that was left was toast and bagels.

Our stay was horrible from check in to check out. Our room keys never worked even after they changed our room three times. The manager asked us to leave our door open during the day while we were gone so the maids could clean. Which made us very uneasy. And the fire alarm kept going off. The area is sketchy to say the least and the hotel was dirty.

Cheap, but not very pleasant. Noise from the street will not let you sleep. The room was ok, the bed was comfortable, but there was a nasty smell. The bathroom also stinks.

I could tell it was old. the airconditioner was very loud. For a king size bed would have liked four pillows. Dated decor. I machine was broken both days. the breakfast was very limited although I appreciated being offered a breakfast.

reserved a room with refridgerator & microwave. on arrival i was told hotel was sold out. i said i had a reservation to which the reponse was oh yea 1 room left on the ground floor. went to the room & was knocked over from the stench coming from the a/c & also no refrig or microwave. 2nd day they installed a refrig but unfortunately the only thing it […] could produce was hot air. a second refrig was installed day 3. it worked. was charged for both items for 6 days only has a refrig for 4 & never did see a microwave. apparently reservations do not count at this hotel its just first come first served. never again Read more

The hotel stair well, elevator and all hallways were hot and not air conditioned. The sheets were gross, having cigarette stains in them. It looked like the bathroom hadn't even been cleaned. The hotel was in terrible condition. There were big chunks out of walls and doors, stains on the carpet, even a hole in the sheets on the bed.

The motel was much better than I thought. It is not a high end accommodation, but nice enough for an overnight stay. The continental breakfast was ok. The only drawback is getting to it. It is located behind a stripmall under construction, and the road to the hotel is full of potholes.

Not very many people at this hotel. Not very well-kept up, but the room seemed clean enough. I got a great rate per night at his hotel, but after I returned from my trip, a relative told me that there had been reports of bed bugs at his hotel (and presumably, that was the reason I got such a great rate, and possibly why there were so few patrons). Did […] not see any evidence of bed bugs, and I slept comfortably. I was glad that I could adjust the temperature in the room myself, without a thermostat, as some hotels allow you to adjust the thermostat, but there is a preset limit as to how cold or warm you can actually make the room. The lamp next to the arm chair was very rickety, and nearly toppled over when I slightly bumped it. It's nest to a TGI Friday's which I really liked. Overall, ok. Read more

The Night Staff is much friendlier than the day staff which is one thing that definitely stands out! Overall, Travelodge in Glenview, IL is an okay hotel but it could certainly use some "primping" up.
