I was there during the replacment of the wall paper on the first floor. When I arrived back to the hotel from work the repair man was removing the wall paper from the first floor hallways. He was wearing a paper mask and there was alot of visable black mold under the old wallpaper(around 30-50 sq/ft.). They did not have up any kind of barriers to contain […] the mold spores from contaminating the rest of the lobby or breakfast area. The next morning I went to leave for work and the worker was covering up the mold with drywall mud and he was sanding it down when I returned to the hotel that afternoon. I will not return to this hotel. If they are going to do that kind of work in front of everyone what corners did they cut when no one was looking. Read more

The hotel is super old. Do not let the pictures fool you. The hallway was old and gross and smelled really gross. The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars was that the beds were really comfy other than that it was not a pleasant experience.

The hotel was located by lots of restaurants and its clean and enjoyable. Guy at front desk, Sterling, was phenomenal! I'd stay again for sure. Great deal too!

Hotel was okay. Large dark stain on carpet near window. Thought it was a wet spot at first since it was so dark. Room temp difficult to stabalize. Had digital thermostat in room. Iron worked well, however the ironing board needed a new cover. Made it dificult to iron work clothes. Bed comfort was okay. Free wifi worked great. Work space (desk) in room […] was sufficient. TV worked great. Breakfast was bad, even for a free continental breakfast. Be prepared to get coffee elsewhere. On the plus side, it was so bad no one was in there so it was easy to get a table during what is normally a busy time for the breakfast area. Free newspaper was nice. I asked the hotel staff for recommendations for eating at a local restaurant and site seeing. The most I could get out of them was a recommendation for Chili's next door. Maybe they have never been outside of El Paso and do not realize it is a chain. As for site seeing, I do not blame them. There is apparently nothing to do in El Paso. Read more

Location is very good. Carpets and bathrooms are not very clean. Air conditioning was not working well with a 100 degrees temperature outside. They promised to fix it but never did. Continental breakfast not good.

Comfortable, good breakfast. Liked the fact that doors to rooms were in an enclosed hallway. The La Quinta across the street has outside doors and the last time we stayed there people made noise until 4AM, which made it hard to sleep.

we will not stay here again, the ac did NOT work, it was cooler outside at midnight than it was inside the room, and a *non smoking* room that reeked of cigarette smoke after leaving the bathroom door shut all night!! and when we checked out at 2am and i was asked how everything was, the gentleman was not the least bit concerned that why we were leaving […] was becuase the car was more confortable for a 12 hour drive then the room was, there was no apology or anything! I have never had such a crappy night in a motel before and dont care if i ever stay in a la quinta again!!! We shut our eyes for a total of 2 hours at this motel!! Read more

The hotel was conveniently located near the freeway and from dozens of restaurants/fast food. The room itself was clean and well kept, however the room reeked of smoke, yes we asked for a smoking room but it would have been nice to air out the rooms prior to entering....the first room we were given was perfect no smell of smoke and was clean as well, […] unfortunately for us we asked to be moved to a smoking room, there lies the problem....SMOKING.....so if your a smoker just deal with it, if not a smoker you'll have a pleasant all around experience....dont get be wrong we did enjoy the hotel and the breakfast in the morning was satisfying...we would definitely stay there again!!! My family and I stayed 3 nights in this hotel during easter. The first room they gave us was as if someone was in the room when I opened it (TV was ON and 5 empty bottles of beer over the desk, bed not done). I reported this in the front desk and they gave us another room. In the other room the A/C didn´t keep the room cool. I reported it and the reception […] asistant told me they didn't have more rooms. Friendly staff, the hotel was on the older side (many surrounding hotels are fairly new). Close to shopping and many choices for food but was a bit of a pain with the fence that surrounded the hotel - had a hard time finding the entrance after a long day of driving. The room itself was ok, again you could tell it was older. If I stop in El Paso again […] I'd pay a little more for one of the new hotels in the same area. There was a bit of a mix-up when I checked in. I had requested a room with two double beds, yet they had a room with king sized bed. No big deal. I was sharing the room with my sister so it was not a problem. Other than that the stay went smoothly.

The hotel room wasn't comfort. There was a problem with the toilet, it sounded like it was always flushing. We called to the desk and they said they couldn't do anything, they ignored the problem. We asked for a new room, they said no. We couldn't sleep well because of the noise. We would never come back to that hotel, they didn't treat us right.
