The room was extremely,comfortable, neat and clean. The stay was very comfortable. It was very near to Orchad Road, Littlle India Dhobi GGHaut. Very near to MRT. I'll stay again. Indian food was very good including break fast. Try the Indian buffet .

We used this hotel as a base for attending the Singapore Grand Prix in 2011 and again in 2012. The location is fantastic. Just one stop from City Hall on the underground means that you can be inside the circuit in half an hour.

Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel is clean and well looked after. Pool area very nice and well kept. Beds were comfortable and we did sleep well during the night; However! the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything! that goes on in the rooms around you. Most annnoying thing was the doors slamming closed from an early […] hour every morning, (i know some hotel room doors are setup in a way as to ensure they close tight upon exiting the room, (and fair enought too) but with the thin walls around you this is very loud and woke us up very early everyday). 2 mornings out of 4 this (noisy closing doors) was very consistent as there was a very large group of touist's from an organised tour bus occupying the majority of the hotel, who all departed at the crack of dawn. (i'm not a light sleeper either). So the noise factor from other guests / and maybe normal hotel operations and services (which, you know; is probably just people doing their normal thing and their jobs, etc) is not helped by the ability for noise's to be easily dispersed throughout the floor. Very disappointed by Hotel. We waited a considerable time to be served on arrival and the reception staff were disinterested, We found the carpets in the passageways and room very shabby. The room contained no information about the Hotel's sevices. It was difficult to book a shuttle bus to the airport the following morning. Poor Housekeeping and very late. My room did not get attended until at 2 pm despite request from front desk at 9 am. Toilet floor uneven resulting water ponding at one corner. Carpet - old and dirty. Room dusty especially at window area. Bell service staff not very helpful. Despite both hands are attending to luggage bell staff are not coming forward […] to open door for entry to hotel entrance. Lift - on several occasion card reading failed hence card has to be reprogrammed for lift passage and room entry. Reception staff - less than helpful and slow. Landmark Village hotel was good choice for one night stop before leaving to the Airport. Close to Bugis metro stop, Bugis Junction (shopping center) nearby. The pool was also ok. Breakfast was not included in the price but we paid it separately (the Moon Chai Restaurant) but we can't recommend that to anyone.

The Landmark Village Hotel was ideal for our holidays in Singapore. However the air con was set far too low and could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature with the thermostat. I stayed here only for convenience for work but it is not the best hotel that is for sure. It is close to Bugis MRT if you are using that to get around. I found the waits for the lifts/ elevators to be frustratingly long and accessible only w/ the key card for security to your own floor. Not convenient when you friend stays on another floor. We booked this hotel on line and the photos and condition of the hotel looked really good and the reviews were well read. However, when we got to our room the carpet was very old, the bathroom was not very clean as it should have been. The tiles were chipped and staines and holes were in the tiles. Last Friday I checked out around 12 noon to attend a meeting and left my large luggage to collect later before catching a 6.30PM flight. The 4 of us were so glad to stay 4 nights here, although the room rate kinda expensive & they don't have flat TV but the room is very clean & cozy. Our kids love the swimming pool. Overall this hotel is in a very good location & easy access to MRT or to get some food by walk. Definitely we'd like to come back staying here someday :)
