I stayed at this particular location because of the proximity to my destination and I had stayed here on a previous trip. My previous trip was pretty good but this one had a few bumps. I had to change rooms twice (luckily I hadn't unpacked) because of the heat and air not working in the first room and the television wasn't working in the next due to […] no maintenance or tech staff being available in the evening but the desk accommodated me very fast with apologies (luckily the hotel wasn't full). Rooms were pretty clean and comfortable. The satellite reception they had would go in and out at times though but internet connection was pretty solid. Would stay again if rates are inexpensive. I didnt like my stay at this location at all. My room was dirty and housekeeping didnt come to my room. I had to use clean towles to wash the bath tub out myself and then go to the front desk to get more towles. The AC/Heating unity in the room wasnt working and the window was stuck and sometimes wouldnt open. Great location to shopping and airport. Our room was clean and breakfast was good. Hallway carpets could use a vacuuming, but overall decent cleanliness in the hotel. Quiet all night and no issues. Great place for an economical stay!

Room was clean, not a 5-star hotel but decoration wasn't outdated or anything. The TV was nice, but channel selection was limited. Breakfast was free, basic continental breakfast with breads and oatmeal, etc. Not much around the hotel, but it was very close to the interstate and easy to get to St.Louis attractions.

I usually stay in St Louis and the hotels in Hazlewood area are usually very dirty and unpleasant staff. This hotel was nice, right next to I=270 and 67, Outback, Walgreens and fast food within walking distance. Room was nice and cool, clean, fridge in the room was convenient. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes! Paid for nonsmoking, put in room that had ashtrays and smelled like one, called the desk, rudely told it was nonsmoking, told him NO IT WASN'T, that there were ashtrays in room. He told me he would send someone up with spray for the air. Told him NO WAY, PAID for nonsmoking room & that is what I wanted. Told […] us to come back down and they would see what they could do. Moved us to different room that was a little better but could tell it had been a smoking room at one point. Everything wreaked of cigarette smoke from the time the front doors of the hotel opened!! Also booked room with two doubles and was given a king & front desk told us it was due to Expedia's screw-up!! Two positives, plenty of hot water, though the shower curtain was musty and disgusting, and A/C worked great. Bed was not too bad. After going out, came back in and the housekeeper saw and asked if all was good and informed her of no do not disturb sign, no shampoo and no soap and she quickly ran and got it for us. Yvette was amazing! We stayed on the 4th of July and wanted to go down to the Fireworks at the Arch. She told us to take the train to avoid a $30 parking garage cost. She told us how to use the train and which one to catch. It worked perfectly! Later I went to get ice at 11:30 pm. Checked in without any problem. They had my Expedia payment on record so there was no credit card required to swipe, on arrival. Room was clean and stocked. Larger, flat screen TV's with HD throughout the hotel ... nice. Continental breakfast in the lobby was adequate. Easy access from the freeway. Overall ... not an unpleasant stay.

WHEN WE ARRIVED,THE STAFF MADE SURE OUR ROOM WAS READY. THE ROOMS WERE COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLE. WE RECEIVED HOUSEKEEPING PROMPLY WHEN WE NEEDED EXTRA TOWELS. HE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. I WOULD GO THERE AGAIN WHEN I AM IN ST LOUIS. THE HOTEL IS RIGHT OFF THE HIGHWAY AND MINUTES AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN ST LOUIS.

Hotel was located about 10 minutes from St. Louis Mills. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast buffet is great when traveling with kids. Would definitley stay here again although no restaurants within walking distance but Walgreens & McDs a block away and plenty of pizza to get delivery from. Thanks LaQuinta!

Good neighborhood. We had a wide selection of restaurants to eat at near by. A busy area because it was in town, but manageable. The hotel itself was good, up to the standards I expect from La Quinta. They are also very cost competitive and pet friendly. I would recommend La Quinta to most people, and this one certainly met expectations.

The staff are very nice and accommodating. The one complaint I would have is that, I visit this hotel monthly for business and every time I enter the room initially, it is freezing (the AC is blasting). I'm not sure if this is protocol for cleaning, but it makes the room pretty uncomfortable at first.

The tv was covered with dust, the shower curtain was in dire need of changing, the carpets in the hallways were so dirty looking and faded, they looked like they hadn't been changed in 30 years. The hallways also smelled a bit of cigarette smoke.
