Well a couple things went wrong while we were there, but overall a good stay. When we arrived the front desk help was entertaining, but not very professional. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping, maintenance and front desk. Great location for shopping and dining. Very close to the college and VA hospital (purpose of our trip). Hotel is basic but very clean and modernly updated. Very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed to be closer to my workplace after a big snowstorm. Hotel got the job done, had snow cleared quickly, and was within walking distance of restaurants and stores if streets were bad. Although the girl at the front desk was wonderful with check in, our room was a bit dirty. The tub and shower curtain had some staining on it. I thought housekeeping was too loud and started way to early for a Sunday morning. Breakfast was pretty blah, and could have more of a selection.

Pleasant staff, rooms clean, good price. Limited toiletries (bring another bar of soap), older bathtubs, hotel is next to freeway and a nice mall is just across the street. Convenient location but too noisy for us. The window was not sealed well and traffic was fairly loud. A nice place to stay for the price if you are a sound sleeper.

As soon as I walked into my room, it smelt like a dirty wet dog. The air was off, so I figure if I turn on the AC, it would help move out the bad air. I did and left to get something to eat. I booked this room through Expedia, requesting non-smoking king. This means that the room is prepaid and non-refundable. I got to the hotel around 9pm, following an evening meeting, and was told that they had only a smoking king available. I expressed my displeasure and they offered to spray in the room, which I thought was extremely silly. Eventually […] she discovered that she had a non-smoking double room, which was fine with me. All in all, the experience was just okay. I have no idea why a prepaid room is not available. While the accommodations were merely adequate, the fact that only smoking rooms were available was a major dissatisfier. Why any hotel chain still accommodates this nasty habit is beyond me. While not entirely the hotels fault, there is a disconnect between what is booked through the hotels.com site and the actual facility.

When we arrived in our room, there was a clog in the toilet that had not been dealt with and we arrived late in the evening! The woman who came to take care of it was exceptionally nice and personal but by then, the bad impression of LaQuinta was already set. Sorry, they will have to do better.

I did not bring attention to my issue so I can't say whether all the rooms were as follows but I stayed one night with a dog. The room given was great, near the exit for the dog to go in and out but it was a very odorous room, as if it was a smoking room. Also the overall decor was not up to many other LaQuinta's I've stayed in.

Lets start with very loud construction, fire alarms going off..for a long period of time.....while our kids were trying to nap... . TV didn't work had to switch unit and when that was fixed , their cable was out do to a network issue. This lasted for the entire stay. No soap or shampoo or hand towels in the room, when we checked in.
