the furniture in the room looked as if it was pulled from a street pile. There was a huge pile of caulk around the base of toilet in the room. The cat walks leading up to the second floor had divots in it, The laundry machines should have been sent to the scrap center as one of the dryers had door ready to fall off and it took over 2 hours to dry a […] small load.I don't think for what I was charged for my room that this should have been an issue.Quite honestly this room should not have sold for more than $30. a night .No coffee pot in room or microwave but did have a small fridge. It was very unpleasent. My room was cleaned noticeably once out of my 3 night stay. The bed was uncomfortable and the carpet was torn up with holes throughout it. The bathroom shower was very small and the paint on the wall was peeling off. Also, the toilet leaked water onto the floor once you flushed it. The check in was pleasant. The man behind the desk was very polite and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable except there was no trashbags in the trashcans and there was a used cofee filter in the coffee maker from the last occupants. We had to go way down the access road then go under I20 and get on the next access road to go back the other way […] to get to the hotel. Motel address is wrong on the internet. It was not listed in my GPS. First time I called for directions the phone rang about 20 times with no answer. When I finally got some one to anwser they yelled for daddy. He could barely speak english and did not seem to understand it very well. The bathroom had mold growing, my feet turned black when I walked across the room. The maid only came by once in my 5 day stay. It took us twenty minutes to find the place and once we got there the attendant said it happens all the time and the owner refuses to change the address on the website. We have stayed at this hotel before, and were surprized at how much it has run down. While the rooms were clean, they bathroom was in need of some maintenance (the poorly done paint job didn't cover up the problems). While the rates were good, we'll look for another hotel on our next trip to Abilene.

OK; this is a really budget motel. It has NOTHING that could be mistaken for luxury but it is clean; the personnel is courteous and helpful. It's right in the middle of a bunch of other places I've stayed and this one is better than the others. I definitely recommend it if you just want to shower and sleep.

Check in was at noon, we arrived after two and our room had not been cleaned yet. The front desk would not change rooms so we had to wait a half hour for the maid to do a rushed and poor job of cleaning. AC barely worked and made a horrible racket all night.

Upon pre-registration I requested a downstairs room. If I had been told that I would have to stay in an upstairs room I probably would of reserved a room elsewhere. I was assured that a downstairs room would be no problem. When I checked in I was told that I could not get a room downstairs. This is the budget-iest of the budget hotels. Don't expect great big fluffy towels or a high-end mattress. What you do get is a clean, quiet room with microwave and fridge, free wi-fi and computers in the lobby, a very decent continental breakfast and a friendly staff. And I saved a ton of money!

The staff was very helpful and friendly, both when I checked in and at breakfast. The facility is older but in good repair. I arrived along with a group of dogs for a Dog Show. I was not distrubed by any dog noises. The WiFi worked, the shower water flowed well and it drained good. What a rat hole. I would not stay there again. Holes in the wall by the tub and paint all over the floor. Walls were peeling where they had been painted over wall paper. Not the cleanest place in the world.

The location is nice. Its right off the interstate. The beds are horrible. The springs poke your back. But the staff was very friendly and accomodating. We asked for extra pillows and it was no problem. The continental breakfast is yummy with Texas shaped waffles.
