I was originally put off by the appearance and proximity to the freeway, but my room ended up being quiet and clean, and I had a good night's sleep. The internet was a decent speed too, which is a nice change from a typical motel.

Rooms were clean & spacious. The location was very convenient for downtown Dallas activities. There is a little diner right next door & a full service breakfast came with the cost of room. Very nice. There is no elevator & rooms open to outside, but it is a private courtyard type parking lot.

If looking for a central location to get around the various parts of Dallas, this is a good, economical choice. We really only slept there, so it suited our needs just fine. Close to Knox/Henderson area and Uptown, which have some great establishments to eat and drink at.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in. THe inside was updated and it was next to a great resturant that had great coffee and was 24 hours. I needed to eat before the hotel breakfast was served so the resturant was very accommodating. If your reason for staying is at the Cottobowl or Fair Park it s a quick straight shot drive down a side road(Haskell) […] no need to get back on ther interstate and deal with traffic. Fulll beds are very small. Room was clean. Breakfast was always cold and ran out quickly. Noise level was very high and woke me up several times during the night. Hotel employees were excelent though and very nice, as was the night time guard. Rates were ok, but do wish senior cit. or aarp rate was better than just a dollar off. Thank you

The worst customer service I've received in 2 years!! Period. The manager was asleep at the front desk.. I got double charged for booking. And to top it off i had to call corporate to get it all fixed. Not to mention the manager was asleep on duty at the front desk!!!! How unprofessional Smh

We just wanted to check out SMU. Needed a place close by & not expensive. We stayed on the feeder road & headed north about 4 lights. The breakfast was eggs, sausage, pastries, waffles, potatoes & free. We were tired when we got there. They have a small restaurant at the front. Not great but decent. You could also order Pizza or walk a short distance […] to Jack in the box. Parking wasn't a problem. Small table for a desk. We borrowed a trile outlet .We should have brought our own power outlet. Refrigerator, microwave & coffee in the room. We just needed a place overnight and it worked great not there for vacation or getting ready for a wedding or anything. so it was great for the price. The only improvement I can suggest would be to add more blankets. Yes, I used the heater, but only on the second day when I learned where it was. That first night, I slept with my coat thrown over the bed for warmth!

I'm not a high-maintenance guy, but I didn't find anything unsatisfactory with this experience. Everything was in working order. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. The free Wi-Fi worked well. They were doing a bit of construction on the parking lot, so some of it was closed off. It wasn't a problem, though. I was able to park right in […] front of my room. You are next to a highway, so there is some highway noise, but the hotel rooms are enclosed, with buildings between the highway and the hotel, blocking a lot of the noise. It wasn't loud enough to prevent me from sleeping. There's a Jack-in-the-Box right across the street that we walked to for dinner and breakfast. I booked a non-smoking room, yet my room smelled like an ashtray. My room carpet was also wet upon arrival. The highlight of this hotel is the small diner located on the property. In essence, book another hotel to save yourself and/or family the hassle and headache.

For the price, it's clean and comfortable. Michelle went above and beyond by driving me to my destination about 5 minutes away when a taxi could not be found because of the Boomers v. Sooners football game that swamped the city. Thanks, Michelle!

I was over-nighting in Dallas on my way to Chile. All rooms open to the outside which is a security issue. There isn´t anywhere to get a drink within walking distance and the only restaurant onsite is a glorified coffee shop with no liquor licence. Also after 10pm you can´t go to any of the fast-food rteataurants nearby unless you are in a motor vehicle. […] All in all, I could have saved $55.00 in cab fare and stayed at a much nicer hotel nearer the airport and simply taken the train downtown to sightsee in the morning. The breakfast was reasonably good and included. Overall I would say if you want good value, stay near the airport or downtown as this hotel is 4 miles from anything remotely interesting. Read more
