My husband and I liked the room. He really liked how soft the bed was. Very convenient for the appliances. The spa could have been better. All jets didn't work and it wasn't as relaxing as I thought it would have been. Overall it was a good visit.

Went to spend time @ the casino. The employees @ Travel Lodge were very polite and very quick to help. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend them to my friends.

The room was very basic, but clean, quiet, and comfortable. "Breakfast" was coffee, OJ, and cereal. Staff was pleasant. Location is easy to find.

Room was very nice and clean, as was the whole hotel. Check in quick and room was exactly what I had wanted. Breakfast was nice and staffer kept the tables and area clean.
Very close to the highway without noise. Has a great fitness center next door that can be used during your stay. Large breakfast area with more options than most. Only complaint is the attendant in the breakfast area was very lazy. Had no gravy the 20 minutes we were in the area and she moves around very slow and not concerned..Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We would never stay at this Baymount again. The room had chips and peanuts on the floor from previous tenant...the halls were filthy....needed vacuuming desperately!!! This hotel was convenient to the highway and to Western Mich. Univ., where my son and I had business. We were disappointed there was no pool as we had thought. We arrived in extreme heat, so we retreated to our room where the A/C functioned well. The desk staff was helpful. "If you don't require Cleaninig..."
We were in the room for 4 nights and the room was cleaned a total of 1 time, and that was done poorly. I will allow the one day as we didn't leave the room in time for the staff to have gotten in, however, that is only one of 3 opportunities to clean. One day it was ignored all together, and the other day it was given a "Lick and a Promise" cleaning. […] They made the beds, hung up the towels and put new soap bars. The up keep on the hotel was terrible. It needs to be remodeled. Also, there were people (staff?, guests?) that hung out in front of the hotel all the time. I made a mistake that shouldn't be made. I left my room one morning and forgot my wallet. I didn't realize it until late in the day just before returning to my room. I attempted to get gas and discoverred that my wallet was missing. I returned to my room to find that it was cleaned and the bed made. I have stayed here in the past. The new general manager, Deanna has done great things as far as updating. It is much cleaner, new LCD TV's, (which is important to me), new paint, friendly staff. This hotel provide the simple basics of a clean, convenient place to sleep at a good price. There were minimal amenities but since we had no need to swim or use a business center, it did not matter.
