Rommene er svært gamle og lukter likeså. Ekstremt dyr frokost, men hyggelig personale.

"Poor service, poor room"
11/06/14 Chris-Belgium Brussels
I was there on a business trip and wasn't happy at all with the service. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned when I arrived, there were no towels. On the second day, they didn't clean the room at all. They didn't refill the shampoo dispenser and didn't bring any when I asked for it, despite their promise. There was only a fan in the room and, even when leaving the window open whole day and the fan on all night, it was unbearably warm in the room. The room was stained. I would never return there.

This hotel has seen better days. It has small rooms, furniture could be refurbished – there were some strange stains on it, but it was clean. Staff was friendly on check in, however in the evening I asked for a blanket because I was freezing in the room and they told me they don’t have any?! So I had to sleep with my clothes on in order to avoid catching a cold?!? I’ll be avoiding it next time

Booked at another hotel in Vienna, but was overbooked and placed here. The hotel is fine, but far out of the centre. The metro station is only a 5 minute walk and once you are there its about 10-15minutes into the centre of town. the staff was friendly the breakfast was okay. The beds not great, but value for money.
"Nice Hotel, excellent friendly service"

We stayed here when attending a nearby conference- very good value indeed. We had been concerned reading some of the previous reviews, but would not have recognised it as the same hotel as used by some of your reviewers! We found the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. A broken safe was looked at immediately, needed spare parts but was repaired by the next day. Rooms were comfortable, quite large, clean and had a fridge. No AC, but our window opened onto a quiet court. Breakfast was excellent. Other than breakfast it does not have a restaurant, which is a shame. There is a small bar in foyer. Re location, it is NOT in the centre of Vienna!. However, travel there is very easy- 5 minute walk to the tube station- around 10 minutes in to the city (trains very frequent) and very cheap. You can get 1,2 or 3 day 'Vienna' cards covering rail and tram etc- our 3 day cards were 16.50 euros- single tickets were 2 euros. An airport bus stops just outside The Hotel is located within the Donauzentrum shopping centre where you get lost for ever- an amazing set of buildings linked by covered over-passess over the main roads. Several reviewers have remarked re finding somewhere to eat- the many 'cafe' type places in the main shopping centre seem to close around 7-8 pm, but those in the cinema complex do stay open much later. PS. The hotel entrance is from the street and exactly next to a way in to the shopping centre- as you look at the doors, the hotel is to your left. Initially we took the wrong door!

Stayed here at the end of a cycling tour. All week we were dreading it as we'd been placed there on a previous tour too. The shopping centre is the only thing around and there is nowhere to eat/drink. It is close to the public transport which is useful. We arrived at nearly 3pm for a 2pm check in and were told we'd have to wait about an hour to get into our room. There was a mild apology but no offer of drink etc as a token gesture or a room to get changed in so we were left to wander around Vienna in our sweaty cycling clothes. There is nowhere near to eat or drink and we had to help a fellow traveller find somewhere to eat as the receptionist had failed to help. The rooms are very dated compared to the Trend in Linz and this hotel seems like an unloved sibling. Breakfast was OK. It appeared great but they ran out of a lot of things and the coffee machines were constantly breaking down. The hotel didn't appear to be able to cope with being full. There was free WiFi.

Hotel is really good located! Close to the shopping mal and to Vienna Centre it is about 15 by metro. Metro station just around the corner! Rooms are clean, but old. Everything worked. We did not book including breakfast, but it looked good. Service was good, we could check-in in the morning. All in all 6 out of 10!

This is a budget hotel, no getting away from it. However it has clean rooms, bed and shower and somewhere to rest up. A little on the thin walled side but not too noisy. Breakfast was good - usual continental meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, breads and juices, but they didn't tell us about the charge for it, and I mistakenly thought it was covered in my booking, but it was worth it, and you'd probably want to take it as there's not much else around the area if you're wanting to get out in the morning. Good links to the underground system and only takes about 10mins to get into St Stehphens place. Finding it after getting off the tram is a little trickier, basically walk through the shopping centre and turn left, or if it's closed round the outside of it. Staff on the desk were fine, again all in all nothing to rave about but it is a budget hotel.
"Fair accommodation with good breakfast and quiet rooms"
We have scheduled a 2 days City Trip to Vienna, in June 06-09 2014. As I got a offer on the internet we payed 100 euro\2 persons\2 nights, which i find it more than reasonable ! Hotel is very well situated near the big DonauCenter shopping center, and 3 min until Ubahn Station Kagran (U1). Ubahn U1 will take you directly in to most of the big attractions.(Stephansplatz\Karlsplatz\Prater for example) I will start with the bads as I consider them to be less that the good: - It is not a 4 Star hotel!. - Old furniture - No clima only a fan - Bathroom sink was old and needed replacement. The goods: - Quite place perfect for good night sleep after all day walking - Breakfast was good - Staff was friendly - Free parkplace near hotel 5 min walking (this can be considered also a minus, as hotel has his parkplace only with fee(18 euros\day), for us was not.) - very close to Ubahn station - Late night food places available + Donauzentrum(Shopping) + CinemaPlexx(Movies) - Excelent free Wifi connection! - Clean rooms In conclusion: - Highly recommend it for city trip\business trips - 3 stars would be more accurate to describe it, as 4 is simply too much - We already booked another 2 days, (Austria Trend Theresinum) as we find the hotel chain perfect for what our needs are. !An important hint! Stores close in Vienna on Saturday very early, at 17:00 or 18:00. Be carefull how you plan your shopping! I wish you an excelent stay in this beautiful city, S
"Great for the underground!"

It is somewhat tired I'm afraid. Clean enough, and breakfast was good, but the rooms are not terribly comfortable and the staff are a little on the apathetic side. There is, however, a great service to and fro the airport from outside and also you're five minutes from the underground, and therefore 20 minutes or so from the Schonburn for example. Mmm, probably still better value for money for what it would buy you in central London, but I'm sure there are more comfy places to stay.
"what a grotty place"

This hotel is very expensive for what it offers. The staff at reception and hotel bar - including the shift manager - dont seem to know their job yet and learn it as they go. The rooms are very tired and even though I reported the same defect every day if our stay the bathroom door that kept jamming and the toilet roll holder that hung off the wall were never fixed. The breakfast buffet is ok though.
