Baymont Inn Paducah - Paducah 37.09682, -88.6904

We are from Iowa and staying at Baymont Inn Paducah was deffinately worth the trip.

When you first walk into this hotel, you might think you made a mistake staying here because the carpeting and painting desperately needs updating. However, I found the staff and the amenities to be equal to a much more expensive hotel!!! I had one problem with my room when I checked in and they immediatley upgraded me to a much nicer room. They provided hot popcorn on two nights of my stay and delicious cookies one night. The breakfast had everything you could ask for - waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy - along with all the usual offerings at a breakfast bar. I will definately come back here whenver I am in Paducah.

Carpet needed replacement, and limited non-smoking rooms available, but overall this room was perfectly acceptable for the price.

Good parts: Bed was comfortable, wi-fi was great, breakfast was fine. Bad parts: the room was a bit shop-worn. Counter-top was stained, a/c was loud, the commode was loud when filling, wallpaper was peeling off, rubber baseboard was peeling off, easy chair arm rests were soiled, and the room carpet felt wet or dirty, or both. Perhaps they really do have a moisture problem as others have reported. The second floor hall carpet was wrinkled and coming apart at the seems, and the 2nd floor ice maker was out of order. If we were staying more than one night, we'd have probably moved to another hotel.

The room smelled damp and musty upon arrival. This improved after running the A/C, but the room never did lose the musty smell entirely.

Overall this isn't too bad a stay for the money. The biggest complaint I had was that the sheets didn't have that clean, crisp look so I wondered if they had been changed. The wallpaper was peeling off in places, so I wondered what else they were letting slip.

Pleasant atsmoshere and very friendly staff. The hotel is clean, conviently located, and nicely decorated. There is also breakfast. We were very pleased.

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Im a single mother who was traveling with a young toddler and the hotel staff was very helpful in making our stay exceptionally comfortable.

We especially enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff at the Baymnot. They welcomed our puppies and gave us directions to places to eat. We will stay there again. C.M.L Anderson, SC

The bathroom was clean, very nice. However it felt like they had just shampooed the carpet in the room and it was not completly dry. Nice place and the people were friendly.

The Non-Smoking rooms were very smoky as was the entire hotel. I had to put a towel at the bottom of my room door to try to keep out the smoke. Not very enjoyable experience for a non-smoker.

Although the hotel was clean, there are carpets that need to be re-stretched because they are buckling and the bed pillows were uncomfortable because they were lumpy.

Good staff. Decent breakfast. Reasonably comfortable bed. Hotel could use some refurbishment, but OK. We'd probably stay here again.

We stayed during the quilt show and everything was booked. This hotel was not at the busiest exit where all the food, etc. and Hancock's was located, but it was only 1 mile away. The staff was very friendly, especially the gal that ran the breakfast bar. The breakfast bar had a waffle maker, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, etc. Would stay here again next year.

I liked the size of the desk and other furniture - you can put an open suitcase on it. Breakfast was an OK.

Very hospitable staff, working through a remodel. One thing...staff smoking out front was very irritating!

We reserved a non-smoking room. We were assigned what was to be such, but when we got in, the smell of smoke permeated the room, the furniture, and the bedding. We requested another room. Reluctantly, we were assigned a different room. No smoke smell this time, but the bath tub faucet dripped all night! Breakfast was excellent.

The room that I reserved was a non smoking room, but the smell of smoke was evident in the room. When the cleaning crew was working, I don't know if it was them, but in the morning the smell of cigarette smoke was really bad.

We enjoyed our stay at Baymont Inn very much. We had looked at other hotels in the area (via the internet) and we chose Baymont Inn. We were not disappointed at all. The room was very nice and clean too. We were greeted warmly and the staff was more than helpful with all of our requests and with directions to get around the Paducah area as well.

The hotel was clean, the staff exceptional and the breakfast ok. I was disappointed with the musty odor of the room and less than cooling air conditioning. The rooms were clean, the beds were confortable but they need new carpet, new wallpaper or paint and something done with the musty smell, nothing seemed to erase it. All in all a satifying stay for the money.

This hotel was older but was great for an overnight stay and decent for the money we paid. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Baymont Inn in Paducah was clean but the whole Inn had a musty feel. I mean that in the literal sense it was humid!(It is the south) Even after have the AC on for 2 hrs the room felt humid?? It a basic place to stay but I will probably not stay during the summer months.

Very reasonable rate and clean. Hotel needs updating. Bathroom countertops were stained and looked dirty even though overall the room was very clean. Room smelled clean. We had to wait over 30 minutes for checkin. For some reason they had not received our reservation from Hotels.com even though booked 2 days earlier.

Hotel was okay for the money. This is the place for you if you are not looking for any ammenities and just need a place to sleep. Breakfast was included and it was good.

room was a musty and had stains on counter (wasn't an issue of cleaning but counter needed to be replaced - it looked pretty bad). Staff was very helpful and nice.
