      room was nice, bathroom a little too small. Breakfast area is way too small and breakfast items leave a lot to be desired. Went and ate breakfast out both days we were there. There were several sports teams staying and the breakfast area was no where near big enough to accommodate people.

      I really enjoyed the up to date decor. The beds were comfortable and the complementary breakfast was good too. Hot items such as biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon were available for breakfast. I would definitely think about staying here again!

      Overall we were very pleased with our stay...the staff were great and very helpful!! Rooms were very basic but we were still comfortable. We missed having a fridge in our room but we survived :) Location in Downtown Des Moines is excellent especially for the rate we got!

    We very much enjoyed our stay. My daughter and I were there to attend a concert, but we brought along my husband and young son to enjoy the pool/jacuzzi.... Everything was in fantastic condition.     The location of the hotel was great and the front desk person was very helpful although very busy and appeared to be the only person doing everything. The pool was great but the hottub was not very warm. We asked for a rollaway bed and it took about 1.5 hours to get it to our room. Our room did not get cleaned after the first night's stay.

    The room was very dry both my daughter and I experienced a nose bleed on the second evening. The hairdryer in our room was malfunctioning - so hot it melted the pastic housing.

    The hotel was made with low-quality materials so it's starting to feel tired. The walls were thin, and we could hear the people above us making a lot of noise (something I haven't experienced in a hotel before). The pool was fun for the kids, but nothing terribly exciting. The layout of the room was a little odd, with the vanity right as you enter the […] room. The room was a little tight for 2 adults and 3 kids, but we just needed a place to sleep on a road trip, and this was a good find for the price. It was very convenient to both I-80 and I-435.     We only stayed one night because of being in town for a concert. But the bed was really nice. Better than the one we have at home & I would also have to say this that the Hotel is very quiet. Wife & I enjoyed sitting in the Hot tube after standing on our feet for the whole entire concert.

    The hotel is very convenient to the expressway exit and there were several restaurants nearby. The hotel looked somewhat tired and needed some updating but the room was comfortable. The bathroom was VERY small. The people at the desk did their jobs but were not overly friendly or welcoming.

    The room was great, but the whole reason we stayed was to get away for the night and use the pool and espicially the hot tub. The hot tub was broke and that really dampered our stay. I was also hoping the breakfast had more to offer cuz my kids like a variety and I'm not a big cereal person.

    Well kept Older Hotel with freindly helpful staff. Frig and micro wave. Nice pool and spa area. Good breakfast to start the day. I am a retired Army Veteran with 27 yrs service I have traveled alot.

    It was fine. Fairly quiet even though quite close to the interstate. Breakfast was pretty good. Bed was fairly confortable. Bathroom was small and the sink is in the main part of the room and not in the room were the bathtub and toilet are. Rooms and general hotel were clean. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous.

    The lady on the night shift was really helpful with the printer even though it wasn't work she tried. I stayed at the hotel because of the "business center" as I was in town for work. But, I have to give kudos to the front desk clerk for doing everything she could.

    I pretty much stay here every year the nite before the living history farms cross country race... They're always very accommodating, and allow late check outs so toucan come back and shower after the race... I'll be back next year!

    will never stay here again check in person Larry was very rude and mean**one couple left waiting for him to get to desk and he told us if we did not like the wait we could go somewhere else... if room was not paid ahead we would have.
