"Thought it should have been better"
The Quality Inn was a little shabby. Smelled like smoke and kinda nasty on the 3rd floor. The paint on the walls wasn't finished. The mirror in our bathroom was scratched up at the bottom on the metal. The shower water wasn't hot when we went to take a shower but we called the front desk and they took care of it. The Quality Inn definitely had a motel […] vibe to it. Not really great. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A pleasant stay"
The hotel is pet friendly, which is important to us. we enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel if we visit Tallahassee again. The only problem is exiting the property safely beause of its location adjacent to a multi-lane road.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice will b back :-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Choose a different hotel"
The hotel is dirty and not maintained. Although staff is friendly, there was no follow-through in fixing major concerns. We received no maid service and I strongly discourage eating the free breakfast. I will not stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Pet friendly accommodations saved the day!"
Thanks to finding a hotel that accepted our golden retriever - with no additional fees or weight limits - AND with a bargain price only a couple of days before Christmas - AND at the "last minute" for us was a life saver. Tired and unable to drive the last few hours of a very long journey, we were thrilled to find the Quality Inn and Suites near Tallahassee, […] FL. Highly recommended to anyone driving in that vicinity in need of a pet-friendly place to rest. Well done! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quick Business Trip"
The hotel is perfect for business travel. The room was clean, bathroom clean, carpeting clean, bed was very comfortable, working desk and office chair was perfect, sitting chair and ottoman was comfortable, many stations to choose from cable television, plenty of self parking, very limited food and beverage inside the hotel, but a wide selection within […] a mile or so of the hotel. "Good for the night"
This hotel needs a serious upgrade, but it was good for the night. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
First arrival. Florescent bulb in bathroom blinking. Call desk no problem will have it looked at. Return from dinner not fixed, so I figured they would get it during the day. Return and still blinking so just went to bed, as it was night after dinner. Next morning the light did not work at all. Shower and shave in the dark. At least I could not see […] the filthy grout on the shower walls. Decide to go to breakfast at 8:30am. Breakfast is 7:30 to 9:30. Most entire food was all gone, coffee empty , and no one around to replenish. Decided to check out and go to I-hop. Seemed like a one person operation but the one person was always nice. "Not a bad hotel"
For the price, I can definitely say it was worth the stay. The only complaint I had was the hotel staffing, because the attendant had a moderate attitude upon arrival at the hotel. I initially waited for five minutes at the front desk before I could check into the hotel. Other than this minor setback, the hotel was a major upgrade in comparison to other […] hotels I've stayed at in the Tallahassee area. I would definitely recommend checking this hotel out if you're planning on visiting this area anytime soon. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It fulfilled our needs for a Thurs night, just wish it did not UP the price so much the next night"
We were new the the game change....just b/c there is a home game ALL hotels/motels increase their prices to take advantage of their guests stay. At Quality it went from resonable to out of sight, needless to say, we stayed in Quincy the rest of our stay & drove back & forth to take care of our business. We were there for real estate purposes, not go […] to the game. Stay on Thurs. at Quality was convenient & resonable price. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Would stay here again"
Stayed here for the OU/FSU game. Short distance from airport and downtown. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and could tell they have been re-done recently. Very satisfied with my stay. Service from the front desk was top notch.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bien pour une escale"
Bon hôtel, petit déjeûner fourni, rien à redire pour le prix. Préférer si c'est possible les chambres donnant derrière l'hôtel ( bruit de la circulation de l'avenue devant, cependant très supportable ).Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Stayed here twice for FSU Football games. Rates are one of the most reasonable in town. Rooms are fine. Not outstanding, but not dirty. Rooms are quiet. Paid $239 for football weekend (each night). Close to campus.
"Decent for passing through"

I got a 2 double bed room, 2 queen bed option would have been nicer. The hotel has a unique decor. The bathroom looked recently upgraded. Most everything was decently clean and on par for a budget hotel room. The TV was a little old and didn't turn on all the time. The beds really need to be upgraded. The mattresses were very worn and you could feel springs. The breakfast was exactly as expected. Overall nothing fancy but a good value.

We stayed at Quality Inn for an "out on the town over nighter". The room was really clean and comfortable. The king bed was fairly comfortable. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet - cant remember hearing anything all night. The room was around $80 which to me was pretty good due to the proximity of all the restaurants, shopping (Governor Square Mall 1/4 mile). Free breakfast, free WiFi, free parking, swimming pool seemed clean and normal size. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

I travel a lot and on my trip in Florida I stayed at probably a dozen different hotels - this one actually stands out in my memory. Being that the price was extremely reasonable, I was truly amazed at the value. Absolutely beautiful rooms - it must have been recently renovated and remodeled as it is very modern and linens, carpets, everything seems to be fresh and clean. I was very impressed with the front desk staff, I actually found myself talking to the woman for quite some time as she was so personable and engaging. I had a lovely stay, everything was very clean, tidy, and certainly above standard for the price. I would recommend this hotel indefinitely!
"Have to say, I was a bit disappointed."
06/30/14 Lauren W Orlando, Florida
I booked this hotel last minute based solely on Tripadvisor reviews. I hate to be negative, but I think everyone was being too nice in their feedback. For the cost, alright, one cannot expect the Hilton, but I was disappointed. Location is what this place offers best, close to the mall and some pretty parks. This is basically an old hotel that was freshly painted, with a few extras added. The rooms were clean enough, but the towels we got were full of someone else's hair. Ok, no big deal, but then we had to ask twice to get some fresh ones. Check-in took longer than expected after arriving late at night; employees were friendly all around. We didn't get to try the breakfast; pool looked ok, but was right in the parking lot. I'd only stay one night....
"Good value, nice hotel"
06/30/14 Fla53 Boca Raton, FL
Tallahassee doesn't really have many 4 star hotels, and the 3 star hotels are kind of all over the map. You can pay anywhere from $70-$150 per night. We were looking for a nice hotel for an overnight stay, but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. The Quality Inn & Suites was reasonably priced, and offered a free hot breakfast. The check-in was very easy and quick, the room was spacious, clean and well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. There isn't much parking in front of the hotel, but plenty in the back, and there's a back entrance with access to the elevator. The location is pretty convenient - a couple of miles down the road from the capital area and FSU campus. The breakfast was good -- they had scrambled eggs and some other "hot" items in addition to the normal cereals, yogurt, fruit, pastries, etc. We were very satisfied with this stay.
"Good for a touristic hotel"
06/17/14 MrCanada Baarn, The Netherlands
It is what it is. For one night it's good. Spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, free parking, free breakfast. It's okay. Swimming pool was a bit dirty. And withing a 7 minute drive to historic downtown, straight ahead. Very good is too much and average is too less. It's okay for a touristic hotel.Bit outdated.

- friendly employees - dingy sheets and towels (looks like they had not changed the sheets), but when asked they quickly brought up new ones - smells of mildew - let's hope breakfast is good - reasonable price - large refrigerator
Every thing I expected from the other reviews I read here on TripAdvisor. The only down side we found was they appeared to only have one luggage cart. This would not stop me from staying again. I can not speak about breakfast, stayed in room to get some work done before a day of travel.
"Quality Hotel - No Complaints"
05/28/14 KBFam2011 Atlanta, Georgia
Stayed here with the wife while in the Tallahassee area on business/pleasure. The rooms are very nice and the staff are even better. The only complaint is that the feel is a little bit dated overall, but not every hotel can be brand new. The room (king bed) was pretty decently sized and the bathroom was spacious as well. The hotel is right on one of the main roads through Tallahassee and I swear there had to have been two accidents during the night because we awoke to brakes, crashes, and sirens a few minutes later (within a few hours). You'll hear some road noise, but that's not the hotel's fault...just something to keep in mind. Would stay here again if in the area!
