We could not take showers, as the faucet didn't work. We noticed it after I was undressed and ready to shower. It was impossible to ask for help at that time, and we had to meet people at breakfast time. We were told by the person in charge at the desk that he would report the inconvenience to the manager and that the manager would call us. so far, […] we haven't heard from the manager. The front desk people were very nice. But the room (one queen bed) was very small. One the second day, we put a "No disturbing sign" until noon. One one came to clean our room. We ended up going to the front desk to exchange clean towels late in the evening. The hotel didn't do any thing to compensate us, just one "sorry" from the night shift person. […] We forgot a cell phone charger in the room, and called them. They were very helpful to find it for us, but asked us to send a postage paid envelope to them to mail it back to us. Northside of town @ College/45&46. Hotel is just east of Denny's. Family-staffed, friendly & helpful. Carpet on stairs needs replaced soon. A clean room with microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, but missing two of seven lightbulbs. Not perfect, but I would stay there again.

Aside from the hotel being non-smoking, the entire room had a smoke order as if they've never steam the carpets or curtains. I found ashes all around my bed. They never cleaned my room duting the day. Most annoying was how my key card never stayed active as it cannot be put in a wallet, by a cell phone or computer, etc. and that's with it being in a […] protective sleeve and I had to get it reactivated 7 times in 2 days!!!! Room was about what I expected - clean, comfortable, reasonable. Front desk person as we checked in was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was a problem finding it - the GPS maps we tried had it located incorrectly - old fashioned telephone directions finally got us there.

On a football weekend, the rooms were all taken, mostly by fans. Pre and Post game parties continued on late into the evenings with people partying mostly in the parking lot. One friend, who has allergies, had to ask for a different room because the air freshener was way too strong and the exhaust in the bathroom didn't work. Especially liked the ample-sized refrigerator and the microwave, both of which are not always present in higher priced motels. The staff was warm and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Once I closed the door to my room, all outside sounds disappeared.
