      Old hotel, basic no frills, but very friendly owner/operator. Small parking lot; not great for any trailers, boats ect. Went to Baseball HOF induction ceremony. Close enough to Cooperstown (30 minutes) and great price for weekend. Basic, no frills, clean; exactly all I wanted and needed.

      it was fine, especially the very good mini fridge which was not so mini. the freezer made ice cubes and kept our cooler packs solid

    Fine for overnight sleeping accomodations. Close to my following day destination. Halls and ends of lobby too dark. Could make for some nervous interactions in the halls - you cannot see facial expressions from any distance.

While we are one of the very few hotels in the area to lack an elevator, we are in fact quite typical in not providing bellhop service. Nevertheless, we more than make up for both of these facts by accommodating guests in whatever way we can. Whether it be by placing a guest in a first floor room or by helping a guest carry luggage to a room. Ours is an old hotel and, like many older hotels, it may give the appearance of being in poor shape; I assure you that it is not.

    For the price, the Ramada would not be considered in any future plans for our company travel. It's dark, dirty and forboding. The first room I was shown had a most umpleasant smell. The second room was better. The hotel appears to be deserted. The best part of the stay was the cheerful desk clerk.

    The rooms were full of dust and the bathroom had mold in the shower and dust on the fan! The breakfast in the morning was good but my friend'd room had no heat and they had to switch rooms, only to have a similar problem with their second room! Please upgrade to be modern

    When I arrived it was so cold I could see my breath. The bathroom was dirty. Fridge and microwave were dirty. I turned the heat on and it never really got warm. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was banging all around me for 2 days straight. I never figured out what it was coming from. Did I mention it was cold!!!

    Older hotel with no elevator. A bit dated and used, but still fairly clean. There was a used coffee cup left in our room.Difficult to find without detailed directions or GPS.

    One of the worst hotels ever. Filthy, worn but worst was so out of the way can't find it! Got lost a few times trying to find it. No signs showed the way. Confusing exit sign with nothing to say which way to go once off the highway. Awful! Never will go again. Lovely staff keep it going, but it's a dump.

    Glad to see updating in the hall ways, however the bathroom needed updated in the room as the ceramic tiles and grouting was dingy. The room was clean and room service was very good.

    The hotel was in terrible condition and was not rated properly. The rooms were old and the bathroom walls had cracks. The hallways gad ripped wall paper and stained carpet. You can do much better than this hotel!

    Very disappointment in the hotel. The condition of the hotel was poor. They be in at the beginning of renovations but the it smelled very musty, felt damp and I did not feel safe. Not happy at all with the hotel.

It is upsetting to learn that your stay with us did not rise to the expectations we have set. I can assure you though, that all of the issues you have mentioned are indeed being rectified. Bathrooms are being completely re-tiled, leaky ceiling are being repaired, and more efficient water distribution systems are being looked at in order to ensure sufficient supply for all guests.

    The hotel was ok. Extremely small bathroom, clean room, but sink was very small and in a very awkward location. Free breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    Although the staff was very helpful and courteous, the overall condition of the hotel seemed dated and run down. The dining room wasn't opened for dinner and the free breakfast was, adequate, but all the tables needed to be cleaned.

    I don't have silver spoon standards at all, but this place is a depressing dump! I stayed here because my daughter's college soccer team, as well as several other teams were staying there. Had they not been, this place would be a fine setting for a bad horror movie. The decor and carpetting look like they haven't been replaced in twenty years.     I spend over 100 nights in a hotel yearly for my job so I am used to some rooms that don't always stand up to my standards. I have never stayed at a more poorly run or dirty facility ever. There is NO elevator to assist you to the second floor nor was there anyone willing to help a 6 month pregnant lady carry her bags. The room was dirty, the shower […] had mold and the TV remote was so disgusting I didn't touch it my whole stay. I was charged through both hotels.com for the room and also when I arrived because the girl insisted that I didn't pay. When I went to check out I waited 10 minutes for someone to come back to the front desk to give me a copy of my bill-after no one showing up I had to leave to get to my appointment.     I travel well over 200 nights a year and generally stay at a moderately priced hotel. This hotel was very close to a business appointment I had in Utica. I should have saved my cash and slept in the car!!

    This hotel was not our first choice location. The decor is a bit tired. Lack of an elevator is a disadvantage; we had a second-floor room. The service was good, and it was a good value.

    The room needs to be updated desperately. The rugs and wallpaper were old and the sink dripped all night. The bed was comofortable and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall the value for the room did not match what I paid each night to stay there. I will not stay here again.

    Do not go to this hotel! Old, disgusting, bad neighborhood... I saw bugs in the room, mold in the bathroom, brown on the towels, bad beds - only full size in a small room - green pool was unusable.... don't waste your money on this hotel!

    Everything was great, except when I first arrived, it took three trips to the front desk before they were able to get my telephone activated. But the girl there was very helpful and she got it resolved. This was my second stay here and I would certainly come back again.
