The staff at the hotel was wonderful and most helpful. The manager was especially helpful with a problem that was created by not booking directly through the hotel itself. We will always book through the hotel directly any time we stay at a Holiday Inn.

It was ok, bed was fine, pillows not so much. The room was clean, but in the morning I went to pick up a "twig" under the table nd it crawled away! Yuck it still creeps me out.

Quiet. Easy access off freeway. Ample parking. Friendly and helpful staff. All positives except the breakfast buffet was just average. Overall though, nice place and we'd definitely stay here again.

We look for and have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses. This property is a remodeled, very old building. The Lobby is well done, the staff lonely but efficient, Per my wife the nicest thing about the place was the shower curtain. Beds were new and comfortable as were the linens.The breakfast was okay. Pancake maker was broken so had to settle for […] cold cereal and fresh banana. Frozen sausage patties and what looked to be bottled scrambled eggs were offered but not well presented. We were greeted with fresh baked cookies, checking in on Christmas Day. The manager of this Inn went out of her way to make us feel at home. Appreciated hotel accepted my dog even if it was an additional cost. Ground floor room very convenient, but the carpet was stained..probably from previous visitlors. This hotel backs up to the freeway and noise maybe an issue. Ok but a bit pricey for what is. Breakfast was nice

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was great with plenty to choose from: cereal, pancakes, biscuits & sausage, fruit, yogurt, eggs and those amazing cinnamon rolls! The staff was friendly and helpful. When we asked if we could have a late check out time, the staff was more than happy to accomodate our request. I'll stay here again.

We were so impress with the Holiday Inn at Yreka we decided to book rest area at Corning Holiday Inn. This was a huge mistake. Good - I would like to say the staff was friendly & checking in & checking out was painless... Bad - Its like i traveled into a time machine back in the late 80s to early 90s. Place looks so out dated & had a weird smell to […] it. We got into our room & i was like what is this. There was no refrigerator or microwave in our room. Really? I really wanted to heat up some of the food & put our drinks for our long drive the next day. There was a telephone in the bathroom & thing would fall apart. The shower had a sign saying pull gently. Place seem like it was going to fall apart. Beddings were lacking & the pillow was so flat. Despite this i was still able to get a good sleep. We were told breakfast buffet was from 6-10. We went down at 9:30 & there was no more food. Only thing left was maybe 2 scoops of egg 5 slices of thin bacon & that's it. I went to the front & i was told they stop cooking breakfast at 930. So we ate what was left, 2 more families came down & were confused as to why there is no more food. They didn't seem to make a big deal out of it. Another guy went to McDonald across the street to eat his breakfast. My wife wanted to heat up oatmeal but guess what no microwave. They had to microwave it at the staff room near the front desk. We were like no thanks. So we left hungry. I've seen better motels then this place & a lot cheaper too. The pricing for this is ridiculous for what you are getting. This place needs a huge upgrade. The hotel was a little pricey for the location but it was clean and quiet. Only a mile or so to a casino. Full hot breakfast is complimentary, as well as cookies upon check-in.

I stayed a number of years ago when it was another hotel chain and was not very pleased. Although this is an older hotel still; they have remodeled and done the rooms nicely and the beds are comfortable. You can see its an older hotel by the elevators and a few other spots, however unless you're pretty picky I don't think that should matter with the […] amenities you're given and the room comfort. Its a convenient location right off of the freeway but yet we didn't hear noise in our room which was a nice surprise. "L", at the front desk was very accomodating and other personnel were also friendly. Check in was quick and easy as was check out. I traveled this route from Oregon to Palo Alto to go to Stanford Hospital. This was a nice in-between spot to stop and just a couple of miles from the casino. Not only breakfast in the morning but coffee in the rooms which is an added bonus for me. The cost I paid was great and I will stay again on my next trip. Read more

The Holiday Inn Express was very clean and inviting and everything that I would expect from the hotel chain. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I didn't spend much time at the hotel so I didn't use many of the amenities, but the bed was comfortable and I got a great night's sleep.

Good quality, like all of the Holiday Inn Express hotes. The cleanliness, nice modern rooms, work-out area, and breakfast bar were all just right. My only complaint is that the rooms in Corning are too pricey, for such a little country town. Rates in other cities for this chain are almost always less and more competitive.
