I would not rate this hotel as high as it is rated. It is an easy to get to hotel off the metro. Got a deal through expedia and was promised an upgrade and got stuck on the smoking floor for 3 days (Yuck!)

The hotel is very well located for tourism, the area is safe with nightlife within two or three blocks from the Metro and 4 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. On Sunday installing a free fair in front of the hotel where they sell mostly fruits, vegetables, cheeses and other things like that. as a 3 star is good but not like 4 stars published

I would never say that this was a 4 star hotel for starters. It is in need of remodeling. However, the location couldn't have been better. So, if you can ignore the need to improve building you should be fine. The receptionist, John, was super friendly and very helpful. Everyone there spoke English. The hotel is typical of European hotel which is small -- small lobby, small elevator, small rooms, nothing worth mentioning. The only thing that is good about this hotel is its convenient location. Overall, the hotel experience was fine. The room was smaller than expected (once we got our 2 big suitcases in, there was little space to walk around the room). The photos on review sites made the room look slightly bigger. The cleanliness was OK barring a few spots in the bathtub. The hotel front desk offered a different room when we brought it to their attention, but we were lazy to move again. If you plan to spend most of your time touring Paris and little time in the room, this hotel will suffice anyone who is looking for a room within a decent budget. The front desk was friendly and helped answer all our questions and helped reserve a taxi for our train journey onwards. Though initially I though this hotel was very old fashioned and quite dark, after a while I was glad to realize that my children could relax and enjoy themselves in this hotel. They even prepared milk for our children one night when our little one really needed some, asking if they should heat it up, and for how many seconds for each child. We had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower, which was within walking distance. We felt very safe in the hotel and walking to the Eiffel Tower at night. The metro runs outside the hotel, which can be a turn off for some people, but we didn't hear it, and the children enjoyed watching the trains. There was even a market right outside one day. This hotel was very close to the Eiffel Tower. We had a view of it from our hotel window. The front desk clerk-Hamid was very helpful, kind, and over the top nice. We were afraid of going to Paris with comments we heard about them being rude but this was not the case everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here.

It's good if your going to stay for a few days. You can see 2/3 of the Eiffel tower from the 5th floor. my fiancee and i had dinner in room a few times just because of the view. i think the cleaning staff threw away my fiancee luggage belt lol. This hotel is in a good location relative to the Eiffel Tower and other major sites in Paris. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the tower. The staff were polite and helpful, and it was nice that the people we dealt with spoke good English. The main drawback of this hotel was its condition. Small things (i.e. scuffed walls, carpets needed shampooing, […] etc.) all added up to the room feeling somewhat run down. It was also a bit disappointing that there were no amenities to speak of. I spent hours reading reviews for hotels, finally picked the Ramada and I am glad we did. Yes the rooms and elevator were small in comparison to US sizes. This was a good experience, on the whole. John at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Other front desk staff were also very good. No complaints at all there. The location was very nice, and we could see the top third of the Eiffel Tower from our room! We were able to hear a crying baby in an adjacent room, and the housekeeping staff would […] speak in rather loud voices in the morning, but otherwise we had no noise issues. The elevated train outside of our window was not so close as to be troubling, and was in fact a rather pleasant part of the entire experience on the whole. The street market underneath the elevated train one morning was a lot of fun, too. There were some "fuzz bunnies" on the carpet, and the bathtub was not properly set, as evidenced by a very slight "wiggle" when standing in differents parts of the tub. The drains of both the sink and shower were very slow and the drain stops did not function properly. The elevators were typically small, but typical of Parisian hotels. Those relatively minor issues aside, the condition of the room was very good. The bed was fine and we were quite comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

We went for a three night break just after valentines day to the ramada hotel near the eiffel tower. The location is amazing cannot rave about it enough about three streets away from the Eiffel tower with some lovely resturants and a neighbourhood that didn't feel unsafe to walk around in at night. However for the price they wanted I would have been disappointed if had paid that price. I understand the location had a lot to do with the rates however the room itself was looking a little run down and worn around the edges and could have done with some new un stained curtains. Our room was on the smoking floor which was disappointing as we both don't smoke and there is three no smoking floors so maybe the hotel should have enquired if a room on that floor would be satisfactory. If you were someone suffering from asthma you may have struggled. We decided to open the window and spray alot of perfume!! However when people in other rooms smoked you did on occasion get it wafting into your room. I would recommend this hotel as a good base if like us you were hardly there but if you are looking for luxury you can get with other ramada hotels then you will be disappointed.
