      I was very impressed with my stay in the hotel as well as the receptionists who were very welcoming. The room environment was very quiet even though it was a busy weekend for the hotel. There was no children running the hallway and there was no loud talking from the neighbors. My room was very clean, better than one would keep there own home. Though it was winter ( early February) and the pool was closed, it wasn't that far from my room and I could see nice Gas grills waiting to be used. This hotel is in walking distance of many nice restaurants as well as the Decatur Athletic Club and the Decatur Mall. I will definitely be staying at Home-Town Suites again without hesitation.

    There were several La Quinta's to select from in the area. I choose this hotel because it stated Inn and Suites. Was quite disappointed it was not a... suite. I also was disappointed that only the king room had a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was nice and courteous and explained but it was a let down. by MREDD  from ATL on 04/02/13

    Bed was comfortable, convenient location. However, the hallway and our hotel room smelled like smoke even though we were in a nonsmoking room. Nonsmoking rooms should be on nonsmoking floors. Probably won't stay her again due to the smell of smoke.

    I checked in on Friday night and experienced a great ease of checking in. I extended for Sat and Mon-Thurs with little or no problem. The only thing I can say about the property is the fact that it is a bit dated, and the hallways are kind if worn and run down

    The front desk gentleman (can't remember his name) was great! Even called to my room as soon as I checked in and wanted to know if the room was satisfactory! When we checked out, it was pouring rain and I didn't have an umbrella and a young lady working brought hers up and walked me to the car! Wow! Great customer service!

They are very affordable...comparable to a motel-6, but nicer! The beds were pretty nice for the price, and our room was CLEAN.
