This hotel in Victoria is very close to tourist areas.The front desk people and the lady in the complimentary breakfast area were very pleasant and helpful.The breakfast foods are great!

Great choice. Only bout 10 min to DT. Free parking Fapirly good breakfast. Free wi fi. Reasonable price. Only complaint was that I couldn't into b-fast because of crowd one day out of three

We stayed here based upon a recommendation of a friend and It was a really nice place. Could be closer to downtown, but the rates were very good. I was pleasantly surprised with the continental breakfast because it was included with the stay and came with unique options for breakfast. My daughter thought that the only downside to our stay was that the […] fire alarm went off very early in the morning at 6:15, and my family and I had to wait outside in the cold Canadian weather. Staff at the front desk was not as helpful as they could have been to a guest unfamiliar with the area. otherwise, everything was great.

When I made the reservation I specifically asked for a room that had safety handrails in the shower. The third party hotel reservation agent called Huntingdon to confirm that, and I went ahead with the reservation. Somewhere there was a misunderstanding, because the only thing accessible about the bathroom was the wide doorway - no safety handrails […] in the shower, nor by the toilet, which was a standard low toilet. The hotel was conveniently located, the rooms spacious and comfortable. Beds were great. Excellent value . I would certainly stay here again and will recommend this hotel to others.

It was mentioned that the rooms had individual microwave units and that is one of the reasons we booked it. Unfortunately they did not have one and also they did not let us use the microwave in the restaurant due to health restrictions. We had a baby with us and it made our stay there pretty unpleasant . This hotel had offered the most reasonable rate, the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was very clean and was offered a room with a view. Hotel is also close to a major shopping mall and transit route. Exeptional service, atmosphere and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who stays in Victoria.

If you're not doing the touristy thing and need to go downtown, this is a great location. Close to shopping and within 15 mins of the University. We had a room with a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. The free breakfast was decent and you could even have waffles!

We were impressed the moment we stepped through the automatic doors into the lobby. The initial presentation was the most striking we have experienced in the price range we are used to with lush, clean carpetting, large comfortable lounging area and a bright welcoming reception centre. The staff were great. I phoned the night before to see if I could get a early check in as it was my dad's 80th surprise party close by. Everyone was very accommodating and were expecting me when I arrived. They were even great when we decided to change rooms for a quieter one. Thank you.

Stayed for a week, and was happy with everyday. It was always clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was never disappointing, trays were always full and the food hot. If you're going to stay in Victoria BC and want to spend a little but get a lot stay here.

The room is clean, everythings are good ,especially the pillows are very comfortable, we had a very nice sleep.

We came here to tour some real estate for a few days, so location was excellent for our business activity. Close to shopping (Mayfair Mall), close to family restaurant(s) (ABC), easy access to downtown Vic and highways. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Free parking and internet is bonus for a larger city (try that in Seattle), Free breakfast was fine, […] except they kept running out of hot food most mornings...so we had to wait....but it was varied each morning. NO microwave or cooking facilties in room as advertized, and the coffee maker was one cup only, but room was as pictured online with couch. Tube TV an antique but serviceable....overall good value for the money. Nice touch was nitelite in bathroom... good when getting up in the night trying to figure out where the bathroom is. There was three of us booked into the room...woke up in the morning and only one coffee cup and serving. We called down to have more brought up, and we never got it. The next morning we were 13 minutes late (10:13am) for breakfast and were refused service....all good....EXCEPT THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE WHO CAME IN BEHIND US AND SAID THAT THEIR FAMILY WAS […] ALREADY INSIDE! GUESS WHAT..THEY WERE ALLOWED TO EAT....we just got to smell it. So just and average place to stay, pretty clean though. The back side of the place overlooks and industrial area. I checked in Saturday at 3.30pm, left out and came back around 8.30 that night. I got my my mom,whose a senoir,and my 7 yr old son with me. My son used the bathroom and the toilet was clogged!!!Disgusting! I called the frontdesk, and was rudely told that I could change rooms or I'll get a plunger and do it myself!!!So i said I'll change rooms. After […] all the inconvenience and it was also getting late,besides the fact that we're all tired from all the days activity, I was expecting a little kind gesture, but no, I was told to get my new keys at the frontdesk. Then when I hauled all my belongins, my senior mom and my kid to the other room, the key won't open the door,no matter how much i tried. so i called the frontdesk again,and begged them to bring the key to me instead of me going back down again. So when frontdesk staff got there and opened the door,she left me at the door.Only to realize that the room they gave me was a single bed!!!I specifically asked for a double bed...Phoned them again,told them about it, and that's the only time they apologized...BUt no kind gesture again, or making our stay a bit better...He (David) rude guy, even told me that's the best help they could give. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location and well priced - even lower than quoted on the internet! Highly recommended.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Contenental Breakfast left something to be desired. Desk clerk needs a little more training in hospitality did not look up or smile when we entered and approched the desk. Desk clerks do not have a good grasp of the city, We asked about a particular resteraunt and its address and were given a unhelpful answer.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Great showers and beds! Breakfast was great too! Received lots of smiles. Well worth the cost. The hotel is close to downtown and easily accessible.

The hotel is right next to the Mayfair Mall which is very nice and quite close to downtown as well. The room was nice, not newly renovated or anything but the staff was great.
