When I first arrived, the Inn looked decent from the outside. Once inside, I realized that I chose smoking instead of non-smoking. Upon arriving, I talked to the receptionist at the front desk and explained my situation. When I asked if there was a non smoking room available, and that I did not mind paying more if it cost more, she informed me that […] she had no non-smoking rooms available (which on the way to the room we found out wasnt true because we passed 6 non-smoking rooms that were unoccupied).So I was unsure of what I would find in the room. Once inside, the room was dingy and dark.The door had black gunk on it, the soap on the sink was unwrapped and used,& the light in the bathroom did not work.The walls are also very thin, we could hear people outside talking, and also could hear the TV in the other room.When I went to bed the pillows were not very good, so I called the front desk and was told that they did not have any extra pillows. So I’m not sure if they truly were not able to accommodate the needs of me and my family as we were traveling, or if it was just late and she wanted to hurry her shift along. When traveling I am not a very picky and needy person,it was just that when I pay for a motel room I would like it to be clean.Personally I would not choose to stay here again. Other than the room itself, the location is nice.It is located about 20 minutes from the airport, & about the same distance to the beach, and looked to be in a decent part of town. Read more

The room had a very odd smell. Not sure if it was the type of cleaning product used or if it was lack of fresh air but it was not pleasant. The TV was OLD and had very poor picture quality. The cable provided plenty of station options. Time to step up and purchase new TVs. The mattress was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and sufficient […] hot water. The sound of neighboring rooms plumbing was annoying. Every time a shower was taken or the toilet was flushed created enough noise making it difficult to hear the TV at a normal level. When there are so few rooms rented on a given night, it is would be beneficial to guests to leave a room in between empty so one does not have to hear the plumbing from the next room. Read more

Over all the room was ok. The doors in the the room need to be wiped down a little and the bathroom could have used a good vacuum. Other than that, it was fine.

The staff was nice, room was good, place was clean, no bugs, beds were a little lop-sided, some tv channels were fuzzy, but all-in-all especially for the rate we paid you couldn't ask for more than what it was.

Thai was the worst hotel I have stayed at. Even at this price. The tv as an example was a old one that had a hole about fist size covered by electric tape. The carpet was so dirty my white socks change to tan.

My stay was okay. I was too far away from the Airport. I was told that I would be 13 miles away. I was actually 21 miles away which made the cab fare too expensive and unexpected. I will not use the company I chose again. The desk personnel was very nice to me and totally understood my situation.

I was very disappointed with the service of the room the dead bolt on the door was broke had to call 3 times and finally went to the front desk and argued with the man to fix the deadbolt because the neighborhood was not good. Also the beds where not very clean because we found cand wrappers in one of them and also the bathroom needs to be remodeled […] the cover was missing off the vent and it looked clogged from dust. The bathroom stopper was broke in the tub. Was very disappointed with the price of the room and the condition of the room and also had to rent a roll away because the beds where so small. The stay was horrible. Wasn't enough room in the hotel an the housekeeping didnt change the sheets at all. They said that they change the sheets ever three day an that nasty. Wasn't Enough towels in the room an the bathroom smelled like peepee. I will never stay at a Howard Johnson again.

whatever you do, do not stay at this hotel. While unloading our vehicle just after arriving at 10:30pm a large truck starts to pass the hotel on the main road, as the man notices he slams on his brakes screeching by and literally puts his car in reverse on the main road and comes flying into the parking lot. I had started up the stairs before he pulled […] in and as I got to the top of the stairs I saw a man drive by holding a beer and then almost driving into one of the hotel rooms and beeping, then backing up into another truck. I hurried into my room hoping he didnt see me and called the front desk thinking they would appreciate my calling them before this man did anything else to any other vehicles in the parking lot or hurt someone. The lady on the phone says thanks and that they will check it out. However, I kept looking out the window to see what would happen and no one ever went out there and as I looked more I saw that this man was now passed out in his vehicle with the door open and one leg in the vehicle and one leg out, slumped over the steering wheel. I called the front desk and was told that nothing happened and they already checked and I actually told me I was making it up. The man on the phone said "if there is no damage to any of the vehicles why does it even matter" but if someone died from this man it would matter, or if someone else's vehicle was hit. The man literally argued with me telling me I was wrong so I called the cops instead. The police did come but even they were rude and talked down to me for whatever reason, even though they also found this man passed out in his vehicle. I dont know what happened with him, if anything, but that night when we were already not feeling safe in this room because of the disrespect and entire situation we then did not have a deadbolt on the door (it had been tore off) and we slept with the table infront of the door. and then the next morning as we were heading out to see our family, we had the door open for no Read more

The est thing about the hotel was that the rate was cheap and the location for shopping was good. The stairs going up and down to our room were very dirty and off putting. The room was a good size with fridge, microwave and the continental breakfast was fair, bed comfy and the room clean. This hotel is newer but already worn down some. Its off 23rd street near home depot and the area is ok. The room is not as clean as some of the other national chains I stay at. It is OK for the price.

The hotel itself was not as reviewed by hotel.Com. I was not satisfied with the accommodations at all. I will not be staying with them again. I just wanted a nice place for my family too stay while we were in Florida. It is definitely not a 3.3 rating out of 5.
