It was great. We needed something on the highway for a quick stay and then back on the road. It was perfect. We also had a quick breakfast before hitting the highway again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Directly go to the front desk."
Great and cheap hotel, can get more cheaper price in front desk than online.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A decent stay"
Nothing to complain about. Easy to find and nice person at check in. Room was clean and so was the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's not like they lied."
Overall it was okay, I have been so used to Queen Sized beds in hotels I didn't expect double beds to be so much smaller for me and my wife. It was explicit on the website, I just didn't expect that much of a difference in my comfort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Near six flags"
Adequate hotel for staying one nite beds were a little too softGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were so impressed with this little hotel. Don't let the 80's decor fool you. Clean, super comfortable, and so economical. Perfect for weary interstate travelers!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but nice"
Small but nice & close to six flags. Staff was polite and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"comfortable and worry-free for my family"
We have stayed here several times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to Six Flags and St Louis sites, but far enough away that traffic is light. Staff always provides for our special needs (wife has a bum knee and can't do stairs). Only problem was that vending machines didn't work. Otherwise, a peaceful stay as always, and the […] kids enjoy the indoor pool. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel stay but hard to fix check in error!"
My stay at the doubletree was great! I just didn't expect to have so much trouble having a mistake corrected. There was not a problem with the charges being placed on my credit card but taking them off is an entirely different story. The manager has to give the o.k. in order for a refund to be given but the manager is always unavailable. I would not […] like to have something so simple be the reason that I never use this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The beds were very comfortable! That is something everyone in my party agreed on. The breakfast was great. Loved the biscuits and gravy. Room was very clean and the sheets were very soft. Other than that the Room was very basic. Six flags was easy to get th from the hotel and I will be staying again next time I am in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms & services was really nice . I needed a microwave & fridge but other than that I will go backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay started off well until my air conditioner went out and started smoking making the smoke alarm go off! When we told the front desk they took hours to come look at it. Do not stay here!!! Terrible hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fine if just passing through"
The person at the front desk was pleasant and helpful, which overcame the initial disappointment of walking into the lobby. It's not a good first impression when the carpet is stained and in need of vacuuming. The decor of the hotel is generally not very up to date. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's. That doesn't keep me from recommending […] the hotel as a place to stay while passing through the area. It's convenient to I44 and the area of Six Flags. The room was clean enough and everything worked as expected for the price paid. I might stay there again, but I would probably look for something a bit newer in the same area. Everything was nice and clean..the lady at the front desk was courteous and helpful. I loved it and the kids did too. We had a ball in the pool too!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the desk staff was helpful and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. A good place to stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room were filthy. My grandson crawled on the carpet and his feet turned black from the dirty carpets. We found items left in the rooms from previous guests and the over all cleanliness was very, very poor. The freezer in the small frigerator was frozen solid and the frig was dirty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very helpful staff"
Met friends there for the ASC Nationals help at a Purina Farms. Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is 2 stories with no elevator, They carried my luggage up to my room. Very good wifi. Small lobby and breakfast area. Nice room.
"Excellent option for those attending dog shows at Purina Farms"
07/23/14 Juanita D San Antonio, Texas, United States
Stayed here for a group trip to attend a dog show at the Purina Farms event center. Very clean rooms and accommodating staff. Ricky was extremely friendly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Dining options around that area are limited to MacDonald's and Hardee's, so I suggest other places for meals. The Brew Haus Pub in old town Pacific was handy and very good. Will consider this hotel as an option the next time we plan a trip for another dog show.
"Nicer than expected"
I was hesitant about booking this hotel because it does have smoking rooms. I am a non-smoker and stale smoke really bothers me. I found the room very clean and never smelled smoke in my room or anywhere else in the building. Booked there because it was pet friendly, and they kindly called me when my dog got out of his crate and started barking in the room. It is not fancy, but they do a good job at what they try to be! Friendly staff and nice, but small breakfast area. Bed was comfortable and Wifi was better than most high prices hotels. My only warning would be that is close to Six Flags. Although the walls seemed more sound proof than a typical hotel, nothing can stop the noise of teenagers running the halls after the park closes. (not the fault of the hotel of course)
"Enjoyed our stay"

Met friends there for the ASC Nationals held at the Purina Center. Great staff, especially Ricky. Carried our bags upstairs, made sure rooms cleaned before we got back in afternoon. We had one of the only rooms with fridges. They do need bigger lobby and breakfast area. Otherwise great little hotel. Would stay again when in area. We were there 4 nites.
"Ok for a quick night stay"
07/13/14 COLOtraveler2012 Colorado Springs, Colorado
We had a last minute trip change and had to find a hotel for one night close to Six Flags. This one had only 1 room left, so we were glad to get it. The room was ok. The bathroom appeared clean. The complimentary notepad had something spilled on it from a previous guest, and the bedspread had a cigarette hole in it, although it was a non-smoking room. One of the lights came on, but would not turn off again. However, when we called the front desk, the clerk was at our door in under 2 minutes and took care of the issue. He was very kind and helpful. The location is great, because it is right on I-44, so you can easily get to about anything in St. Louis, including the airport via highways.
"Best nights sleep I've had in ages!"

We travel a great deal and stay in hotels a lot. There are very few of them that my husband has not found some issue with. Until this one. I was shocked when he said he had no complaints. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wifi worked great. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the shower was wonderful. Very quiet room even with people moving around outside and we could not hear the neighbors. They are pet friendly and there is a grassy area to take your dog. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Even recommended an exceptional restaurant for dinner. They offer more than just a continental breakfast. The biscuits and gravy my husband had for breakfast were great, the bananas were fresh as was the hard boiled eggs, the bagels were fresh and the coffee was excellent. I enjoyed the muffins and the danish was so fresh it melted in my mouth. This is the first hotel that we have not had some issue or complaint with. Would highly recommend to anyone and I entered their address into my computer so I will remember it, so that we can stay there again the next time we are in the area.
"Seems clean but....."

Must have the original interior from when it was built. Felt like a mattress from the 1980s as well, Hard and lumpy. The air conditioner spoke it's own language at the top of its lungs so finally I cut it off. The only updating ever done to this room is the flat screen tv, MW, and fridge. Oh, I forgot the newer toilet. Oh, but the bathroom door is about a 1/4 inch too large for its frame and it won't completely shut. The whole building reeks of some kind of potpourri and if I had allergies I could not have stayed here. The parking is difficult, especially if you are towing something. A tractor trailer could not park here. If it wasn't so late I would probably have kept driving. The front desk staff was efficient, polite, friendly, and accommodating.

We stopped in and booked a room for a night on our way down to Oklahoma. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also very friendly. Nothing real special but would stay again if we were in the area.
"Place to rest head, headed down the interstate"
01/15/14 Bloomfield_NMShearn Bloomfield, NM
Driving cross-country, last minute reservation for the night. We got the last room available, smoking, which was cancelled by previous customers due to a sick kid. Front desk checked us in promptly and gave us spray to get rid of cigarette smell. That was appreciated since we don't smoke. Appreciative to have room to rest, would not have stayed in room if there were other options and weren't desperate for sleep.Baseball playoffs going on, so inventory of rooms was non existent. Rusted ceiling framing, only 1 bar of soap, (had to move it from tub to sink), shampoo, conditioner, and no lotion . I always have my own, just so you know what is in room. There was no Gideons bible, shower barely tall enough for someone 5`6", very slick tub, toilet not real secure, ceramic tile floor in bathroom moves, very rough room! We left and had breakfast elsewhere, so unsure how that is. Right on the interstate, so there is noise.
"Overrated but clean"

If you don't have to stay in this area don't. The properties in this area are over priced in my opinion, This was a three story hotel with no elevator. There were a few enter from the outside handicap rooms on the first floor. If you weren't on the first floor you had to lug your stuff up or down the stairs. The furniture in the room was very outdated looking. The breakfast area was very small but the food was good. This was a small over priced no frills hotel. The only plus was that it was clean and the food wasn't bad.
