Great little hotel, great amenities - excellent location with lots of dining/entertainment options either in walking distance or a short cab ride away. Fast Internet - microwave, fridge, flat-screen TVs. Fantastic find in a fun part of town!

There are inexpensive restaurants nearby and a grocery a short walk away. This part of the city can be sketchy at night.

Location was GREAT. Room was a bit small but very clean and furniture looked new and modern...large flat screen TV. Hard to beat the price and location. Don't expect much of the"Continental Breakfast". It consisted of standing in the very small check-in lobby with a coffee container (did have your choice) and some pastry/muffins. This was actually the […] 'smallest' and leastest" Cont. Brfst we ever experienced. However the Long Beach Cafe was right around the corner and had excellent, reasonable food and a nice atmosphere. The only annoying thing about the room was that it was small and there was no small table on either side of the bed to put your watch/glasses/etc., on before going to sleep. The bathroom and shower were very clean. Yes, we'd stay there again. Just can't beat the price for this location. We were truly impressed with the cleanliness and modern, un-worn furniture. Everything was nice, clean, modern. The attendents at the front desk were really nice. Walking distance from a host of restaurants and bars. Only problems: pillows were strangely small, breakfast was unimpressive. But overall a good budget hotel.

This is a motel, really, but it is very clean and the desk attendants are very helpful. Its proximity to the Convention centre and the downtown makes it very convenient. If you want posh, this isn't it - just very clean comfortable extremely reasonable accommodations.

Whe we pulled in, very late at night, we were greeted immediately upon ringing the bell by a very pleasant man, the owner! When we got in our room, I was so surprised and impressed at how beautiful the room was! Granite counters and beautiful cherrywood bed and furniture. Linens like at a high-end hotel and clean. This was my second time staying at the Rodeway Inn for Ink n Iron. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a fun motor lodge that is very clean and comfortable. Great for Ink n Iron... which takes place on the Queen Mary. Conveniently located for any destination in Long Beach. I'll stay there again next year!

The parking is free however it's a small lot and is full after a certain time. My guest had to park over 5 blocks away to come visit. I felt bad. Smelled a bit like cigarettes in my room but other than that, it was roomy and looked nicer than expected.

Low cost for L.A. standards therefore it was a solid value. The service was o.k. on the lobby, the cleaning staff was superb, very clean room. The hotel location to the Queen Mary was close and easy to find. Had no complaints when I warmed up the sax for the Groovefest music festival (headlining band).

The hotel doesn't look like much from the street, but it was very nice inside. I found the bed to be very comfortable and found more ammenities in the bathroom than I expected. It was an easy walk to the convention center. The breakfast was limited, but I thought that to be a minor issue.
