The furnishings were nice, the TV up to date and the accessories were all there. But I'm a clean person, and I can't feel relaxed or comfortable when I have serious doubts that the linens are clean. Room smelled. Refrigerator in room was not connect, unbeknownst to me so when I opened it the smell was overpowering. There was very little circulation in the room which in creased the musty smell.

Price was in the range of most of the hotels in this area. The neighborhood is not "bad" or scary, but not exactly a walk down the street to a nice cafe kind of place. On the outside, this hotel was like many others in the area - "old-Motel6 style" with the big A/C units under the windows. But, opening the door to the room was an absolute surprise. […] The rooms have clearly been hugely updated - flat screen TV, very nice linnens and a comforter and pillows I would buy for my own home. I really thought this hotel was good from all the excellent reviews. But when I arrived the office smelled like bad b.o and for the price I paid it wasn't worth it at all. This place was renovated but I felt like I was in a unsafe neighborhood. This place was old.Room had a bad carpet odor and creepy feeling. Did not meet our expectations. Jacuzzi was standard sized jetted tub. Room was nicely furnished, but otherwise common. Paltry "breakfast". No airport shuttle. Desk clerk was friendly, but didn't exude hospitality.

Hotel situated on a busy thorgoughfare and noise reverberates off of the hotel (all rooms face the street). The heat/cool system does not allow for continual fan operation to block out noise. I am a light sleeper. Although the hotel was nicely appointed and clean I would not return due to the noise.

For the price it's a good hotel for an inexpensive one or two night stay. Rooms are comfortable, external parts of the hotel is dated and shabby. Easy access to Santa Clara University and downtown San Jose.

This is a comfortable motor-inn type establishment within walking distance of the Santa Clara campus. Front desk staff member for our evening arrival was friendly and courteous. There is free wireless Internet, which is a great perk! We found this to be a good value.

A decent motel that is a former Day Inns. It is an updated hotel with a great room. Would have wished to be a more spacious bathroom. A convenient stay for an overnight at San Jose International Airport.
