"Comfortable Hotel with great breakfast!"

We had a pleasant stay at hotel riveria. The room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. The staff was also very polite and very willing to help. Breakfast was yummy but it will be great if they could vary the selection though. Only thing the hotel was a little far away from the mrt but still within walking distance. Overall,a great experience at the hotel.

The Riviera Hotel is a great value in Taipei. The staff are very service oriented and the rooms have most every amenity. The complimentary breakfast is very good, no matter what kind of diet you are on. My only concern is the distance of the hotel to the nearest MRT station. It is about a fifteen minute walk.

They should cut the price as the park next to it has been closed at least for 1 year. Some roads are closed recently.

The service at this hotel is top-notch. The staff is very friendly and room service is fast. The free breakfast that you get when you book from hotels.com is also really great. We were expecting just a dinky continental breakfast, but instead, it's actually a full buffet with a pretty decent selection. Location is quite convenient... it's near a small night market, and there are a few eateries right around the area. Also was pretty close to most things... about a 15 min trip to Taipei 101 (without traffic). I would definitely consider staying here again my next visit, especially given the price.

Location was perfect. Able to walk to the red line Yuanshan MRT stop. Easy to take the MRT to other parts of town. Safe neighborhood. Customer service great. They walked us up to our room. They opened the business center after hours so that I would be able to use the internet to check my work emails. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast when I booked thru hotels.com! Post office, night market, 7-elevens, family mart, soccer stadium, Fine Arts Museum, MRT stop, bus stops, and food carts all within walking distance. They offered to add a free roll-away bed for the 3rd person in my party. Room had hairdryer, free internet access, TV, DVD player, robes, indoor slippers, safe, shoe polish, toothbrush, sewing kit, comb, Q-tips, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a large magnifying mirror with light! After staying there for 3 nites, my friend was so impressed that she another night there when she returns to Taipei in 2 weeks. Would stay there again.

For a hotel central to a major city, Riviera was very affordable. I asked for a ride from the international airport (40 minutes from Taipei) to the hotel, and a driver picked-me up at the airport exactly on time. The cost was very affordable for the service I received. The people at the hotel are very courteous and service-minded. I enjoyed my stay there.

We enjoyed the hotel's hospitalities very much. The room is roomy, clean and quite. The staff was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. It was raining often during our visit in Taipei and umbrellas were loaned to us without our asking. Also accommodating with our extended stay. The MRT station is a bit far but we were happy about it since our routine "walk-ercise" was lacking. We were greatly satisfied. Highly recommended!!!
