A very lovely boutique hotel. The desk staff was outstanding. So friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed with our two small children and found the room quite comfortable. A little pricey, but worth it. Safe and secure, friendly and helpful. Historical and modern. The parking is a little difficult. We parked in a garage behind and it wasn't too bad, but we found out that there was another one that allowed free in and out. We had the double bed room with a desk. Near a crossroads with shopping and restaurants and near the Kingson Mines Blues Club and Ba Ba Reeba restaurant. Willows was also a short distance from the Lakeshore. Surf Street is very scenic.

We stayed here because it was in close walking distance to several places we wanted to visit along with a few blocks to the El. It was very clean, the rooms are small but adequate. During my stay I spoke with 3 employees and they were all very friendly and helpful.

I found the hotel on line and read the great reviews, however, was pleasantly surprised that this 3 star rated hotel turned out to be a 5 star. Upon arriving we were greeted by incredibly friendly staffers who went above and beyond the call of duty when explaining how to get around in the area and their suggestions for places to eat. The location was very convenient to public transportation and was an inexpensive cab ride away from the downtown area. They also provided a continental breakfast that was delicious. Room was very nice. You can save a few bucks by parking yourself if you don't need in and out privileges, at the same lot. Older hotel nicely redone. Breakfast is adequate if you want to save a bit.

Service was great. The hotel, while old, was clean and comfortable and in a great Lincoln Park location with easy access to restaurants and stores. Parking is about a block away at $22/day. Good continental breakfast. Exceptional front desk staff.

Our room is very clean though a little bit small. The staff were very helpful and very friendly and the location is very convenient. The bus stop is a just a couple of minutes walk and you can go anywhere in the city. I would definitely come back to this hotel again next time I visit Chicago.

Das Hotel ist hübsch gelegen, die Verkehrsanbindung sehr gut, Bushaltestelle zur Bahn direkt um die Ecke. Frühstück einfach, aber gut. Viele kleine Läden und Restaurants die Strassen entlang. Das Hotel liegt nicht in der hektischen Innenstadt (30min), sondern ist eher ein Ort zum Erholen. Service nett und hilfsbereit.
