While the staff was friendly and helpful, we were told when we checked in that the key to our room would probably not work so we should leave the door open. We closed the door whan we left for the afternoon, but when we returned in the evening the door had been propped open. This made me uncomfortable.

The owners were friendly and tried to accomadate us when we complained about the beds being hard/lumpy and uncomfortable. Unfortunately all of the beds were the same. Room was ok, but the smell in the lobby area is awfull (you know like humid area smell in the basement). Room magneti keys was not working, so we were given master key but that was a bit tricky to use. Bed headboard was full of dust. Staff was good though.

I stayed at this hotel about 6 years ago and it has drastically changed for the worse. It is no longer a Days Inn chain hotel, but a sign in the closet sized lobby said "Locally owned and operated in cooperation with Days Inn." The rooms have not been updated or maintained, although my room seemed clean. There was no wireless (or wired internet) as […] stated, and the "breakfast" was a card table with a toaster and a coffee pot. There were men of various ages seated all along the rooms area (outside entrances). This is their prerorgative, but, as a female traveling alone, it made me very uncomfortable to have to walk "through" them to get into my room. My room key did not work in the door slot after the first try. It did, however, work the room next door. Then rather late at night, someone tried to get into my room. It turned out to be an elderly couple, but I hardly felt secure staying at this "Days Inn." The manager was friendly, but there were handwritten signs all over the lobby stating the penalty charges, if anyone broke any of the rules. I actually would not recommend this hotel to anyone. In truth, I did not stay. It was not dirty, but had virtually no amenities, the bed was not comfortable and it appeared to be very old and rundown.

Pretty bare bones hotel on the far side of Lexington and there is nothing of note nearby. Clearly was not built as a Days Inn and seems to have been remodeled a bit leading to an odd room layout. Manager was very stern about their policies and penalties for pets, smoking, and extra guests (any visitor = extra guest). Location was in the middle of nowhere, phones in the room didn't work. The manager of the hotel was very friendly and attended to every detail - he even remembered the names of all of the guests and asked specifically how we were doing at breakfast.
