Room was comfortable, nice size and had easy access to highways. Breakfast was good and staff did a good job of filling food items as needed. Evening cookies was a nice touch. Only issues we encountered was that the tub faucet leaked and the vanity sink would not drain if sink was half filled. Maintenance was able to replace the tub faucet cartridge to stop the leak but hot/cold were switched-was only a minor inconvenience for our stay.

Never disappointed with Hampton however, this hotel location is sort of tricky getting around. Perhaps its me. Staff is helpful and breakfast suffice my morning needs. No complains, will definitely stay again in the future.

The lady at the desk when I checked in was very unfriendly and not welcoming. The rooms could use some updates. The closet door was not on the tracks. It was just propped up against the wall.

Hampton Inn in irving, Tx. Room was hot. A/C would not turn on. Unfortunately, hotels like this one save a buck by using the A/C units that turns off the fan and you can hear your heart beat. The old style A/C units used to have the fan running all night putting you into a relaxing deep hotel coma without waking up. That would be the only reason I like old hotels. In addition, the A/C would not cool down the room. The manager in the morning promised to request a refund. -I need to call about that.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was well located with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty decent. Only issue was with drainage of the shower, a minor problem.

We will certainly book here again when coming to Dallas for pleasure. Easy trip to great shopping in Grapevine or fun in downtown Dallas. So many varieties of food at breakfast - there for 3 nights, and each day it was a little different. Breakfast meat, eggs, great oatmeal and toppings, yogurt (even Activia), juices, cereals, fruit, breads and pastries. They even had breakfast bags at the front desk if you had to leave in a hurry - included bottled water, breakfast bar and fruit. And all this was complimentary AND it was all available until 10AM, which is unusal. So happy to leave a tip for the hotel maid - but all staff were great!

I stay at Hampton Inns frequently both for business and leisure due to a nice balance of amenities for the price. My wife and I stayed at this Hampton since it was close to the DFW airport and we had an early morning flight the next day. The hotel looked fairly new and was very clean. Rooms were comfortable and nice. And the breakfast was very good. Access from highway 114 is a little tricky, but not too hard, especially if you have a GPS.

Overall, it was a great stay. But it wasn't perfect-couldn't get coffee maker to work, shower was too dark. One nice detail was adequate supply of towels, however there wasn't much to hang them on. I thought the hotel staff was a little less than professionally attired-they seem like a mom and pop hotel (and maybe they are). An excellent, much appreciated touch is they clean all of the bedding every time. Hooray, for cleanliness. Kudos on that for sure.

It only takes ONE person to ruin it for all. There was one staff member who was not only unhelpful but condescending to us. Then tried to laugh it off when confronted. The Hotel room itself was very nice. Housekeeping was great. Breakfast was good. No shuttle from airport was inconvenient.

Only stayed overnight after an NFL game. I was thinking 20min away from stadium would have have fewer drunk, rowdy game-goer's but I was wrong. People were yelling in the halls at 1am. Otherwise, this Hampton experience was like all my others - great overall.

No complaints about the room...I prefer to stay at a Hampton when traveling...scrambled eggs were horrible, no sausage or bacon, biscuits were like hard tac, and gravy had no flavor....come on guys you can do better than this...it's not rocket science...put in a real stove and scramble real eggs ...throw the bacon and sausage in the oven....done deal

Had a great stay here, with the consistent cleanliness, quality, and service that we expect at Hampton Inns. For the most part, the service was friendly and knowleable, the room was well-maintained, and the free breakfast was fine (I'm not crazy about eggs, but I always enjoy the waffles). The hotel is located a bit off the main drag, in an area with lots of other, similar hotels - but once we found it, it was easy to get to.

Great stay! Quietest Hampton I have stayed at. Staff helpful, allowed me to check in an hour early. Bed comfortable, good breakfast, nice area. If any drawback at all, the fridge is a bit noisy when it comes on but no biggie. Price was excellent.

The staff was very helpful and the rooms were large and very clean. The "hot breakfast" was a disappointment. There was some renovations going on but we never were disturbed by any of it. Location was off the beaten path but still close to everything we were wanting to do.

No one at the front desk for check in. After someone finally came for help, the woman at the front desk argued with me for 30 minutes about prepayment, realized she made a mistake and the refused to admit it. No one for check out.way too many repairs being done so the whole place is a mess. No breakfast because there is only one person on shift at a time. Horrible stay. Not worth even 1/2 the money spent. Very poor customer service

The hotel staff were exceedingly helpful, polite, and friendly. The housekeeping crew did an excellent job keeping our room clean and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was really good too, and included hot items (I've stayed in pricier hotels that only offered cereal and pastries for their complimentary breakfast). The location was perfect and in a nice hotel neighborhood. It was very quiet and well maintained. We could have used more accessible electrical outlets in our room. They were replacing some flooring in the dining room and lobby, but they managed it very well and I'm sure it's long since been completed now. We looked longingly at the pristine pool but unfortunately didn't have time to just relax and hang out there. Maybe next time!

The personla service at this hotel was great!! It is currently being renovated so not all the rooms have fridges yet but they did bring me one so that was great. I do wish they had 2 waffle makers as there was always a long line, but really that's my only complaint about the place. The area is nice and as I said before the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was fine; however hotel is undergoing floor replacement in b'fast area and it was most distracting to have workers in/out and hammering tile, etc. traversing the lobby and b'fast room. This should be mentioned to guests before they book a room. I live in Irving and my guests were staying her - I was quite embarrassed by this situation. Also ran out of bacon 45 min. before the end of b'fast and nomore was to be cooked (that is what my guests were told) This was a vacation/weekend and we feel b'fast items should be available for hotel guests. Pool nice, temps nice, good parking. Hotel ckin lady could have a bit more personality and talk to the guests about check in, etc. Maybe she was having a bad day.
