First off, you can't beat the price. For what I paid, I expected a low standard motel. What I got was a superior quality mini resort! The rooms, amenities, location, ease of access from travel, pool, complimentary breakfast, generous and concerned staff... It all added up to the best hotel stay I've EVER had. "Quick one night stay"
We stayed at this hotel for a night as we were driving through Irving to meet a friend. The hotel staff were very friendly. Our checkout time was 11AM. We reached Dallas and checked-in only by 4 AM. We asked for extra time to sleep. The receptionist was fine with this but said tat we got to checkout by 1PM for sure so that they can prepare the room for next reservation. Overall a pleasant stay.

"Great Hotel"
I could tell when I walked in thru the entrance the comfort of that place. The guy at front desk was so polite and welcoming. I cant say much more bc it is hardly any words that can describe the best hotel stay. Breakfast was awesome

"Served the purpose"
This Hampton was middle of the road as far as Hamptons go. One side entrance card scanner didn't work the other was sketchy at best. The exhaust fan in our room's bathroom didn't work. As the title states; this Hampton Inn served its purpose and that's about it.

"OK hotel for the price."
Hotel was clean. The room was clean. Had a awesome view of the downtown Dallas skyline. Toilet got stopped up, maintenance was gone for the night had to get a toilet plunger from the front desk to be able to flush the toilet. The pool looked dirty and hadn't been cleaned.

I stayed at this hotel for business and leisure. Everyone was very nice and informative plus willing to keep me comfortable. First time in a Hampton Inn usually a Holiday Inn Express type of gal but for the www.hotel.com price I'm definitely a fan. Kudos to this place plus you get a nice breakfast.

"Excellent room at an affordable price."
Usually I never do these reviews, but this time I have to say that I was impressed with the hotel. It was an incredible price for what you get. Clean rooms, friendly staff and an awesome complementary breakfast. Free wifi too. I would definitely stay here again.

"Airport stay, just didn't want to be next to it"
This hotel had good reviews and I can see why. All the staff was helpful and friendly. Great breakfast area with plenty of food and choices. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location was in a great neighborhood and easy to get in and out of. Close enough to the airport, but no noise from the planes, which was key for us in booking this hotel. I would definately stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

"Room fine but had plumbing problems"
Room was comfortable, nice size and had easy access to highways. Breakfast was good and staff did a good job of filling food items as needed. Evening cookies was a nice touch. Only issues we encountered was that the tub faucet leaked and the vanity sink would not drain if sink was half filled. Maintenance was able to replace the tub faucet cartridge to stop the leak but hot/cold were switched-was only a minor inconvenience for our stay.

Never disappointed with Hampton however, this hotel location is sort of tricky getting around. Perhaps its me. Staff is helpful and breakfast suffice my morning needs. No complains, will definitely stay again in the future.

"Very rude staff."
The lady at the desk when I checked in was very unfriendly and not welcoming. The rooms could use some updates. The closet door was not on the tracks. It was just propped up against the wall.

"Room was hot. A/C would not turn on."
Hampton Inn in irving, Tx. Room was hot. A/C would not turn on. Unfortunately, hotels like this one save a buck by using the A/C units that turns off the fan and you can hear your heart beat. The old style A/C units used to have the fan running all night putting you into a relaxing deep hotel coma without waking up. That would be the only reason I like old hotels. In addition, the A/C would not cool down the room. The manager in the morning promised to request a refund. -I need to call about that.

ME AND MY FAMILY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THIS WAS A NICE QUIET PLACE TO STAY. IM GLAD I CALLED HOTELS.COM. THE BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE. WE STAYED FOR 3 NIGHTS AND IT WAS PERFECT. "Comfortable stay"
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was well located with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty decent. Only issue was with drainage of the shower, a minor problem.

"Great Hotel - Fabulous breakfast and staff"
We will certainly book here again when coming to Dallas for pleasure. Easy trip to great shopping in Grapevine or fun in downtown Dallas. So many varieties of food at breakfast - there for 3 nights, and each day it was a little different. Breakfast meat, eggs, great oatmeal and toppings, yogurt (even Activia), juices, cereals, fruit, breads and pastries. They even had breakfast bags at the front desk if you had to leave in a hurry - included bottled water, breakfast bar and fruit. And all this was complimentary AND it was all available until 10AM, which is unusal. So happy to leave a tip for the hotel maid - but all staff were great!

"Convenient to DFW, Las Colinas"
I stay at Hampton Inns frequently both for business and leisure due to a nice balance of amenities for the price. My wife and I stayed at this Hampton since it was close to the DFW airport and we had an early morning flight the next day. The hotel looked fairly new and was very clean. Rooms were comfortable and nice. And the breakfast was very good. Access from highway 114 is a little tricky, but not too hard, especially if you have a GPS.

Overall, it was a great stay. But it wasn't perfect-couldn't get coffee maker to work, shower was too dark. One nice detail was adequate supply of towels, however there wasn't much to hang them on. I thought the hotel staff was a little less than professionally attired-they seem like a mom and pop hotel (and maybe they are). An excellent, much appreciated touch is they clean all of the bedding every time. Hooray, for cleanliness. Kudos on that for sure.

"nice hotel"
It only takes ONE person to ruin it for all. There was one staff member who was not only unhelpful but condescending to us. Then tried to laugh it off when confronted. The Hotel room itself was very nice. Housekeeping was great. Breakfast was good. No shuttle from airport was inconvenient.

Only stayed overnight after an NFL game. I was thinking 20min away from stadium would have have fewer drunk, rowdy game-goer's but I was wrong. People were yelling in the halls at 1am. Otherwise, this Hampton experience was like all my others - great overall.

No complaints about the room...I prefer to stay at a Hampton when traveling...scrambled eggs were horrible, no sausage or bacon, biscuits were like hard tac, and gravy had no flavor....come on guys you can do better than this...it's not rocket science...put in a real stove and scramble real eggs ...throw the bacon and sausage in the oven....done deal

Had a great stay here, with the consistent cleanliness, quality, and service that we expect at Hampton Inns. For the most part, the service was friendly and knowleable, the room was well-maintained, and the free breakfast was fine (I'm not crazy about eggs, but I always enjoy the waffles). The hotel is located a bit off the main drag, in an area with lots of other, similar hotels - but once we found it, it was easy to get to.
