Everything satisfactory; however, I did have a problem using the key card. It was needed to gain access to both the building and the room. However, that could have just been my problem using the key. Otherwise, overnight stay was very comfortable.

We booked the hotel very last minute and my kids and I were very pleased with our room and the hotel. It was perfect for the price. i would highly recommend it. The little Tavern has very friendly and accommodating staff.

The location is good, the room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was tasty and the staff was pleasant. The housekeeping was lacking, as the room was only cleaned one time during a four night stay. Had to call for towels and coffee supplies, but room was not cleaned after the second day.

Bad place to stay. We had the nastiest room with filthy carpet right next to the entrance. We heared the people come and go all night long. We complained and were put in another room that was a little cleaner and larger but the heat did not work. The Maintenance guy did not know what to do and send the houskeeper to bring us some additional blankets. […] It was below 32 at night and I told the front desk that they needed to do something about this. The brought a small heater blower to the room that wasn't able to heat the entire room. We checked out a day early. Never ever will I go there again. The pet wing is filthy and damaged. Not everyone that has pets is dirty.Why they make you sign a damage waiver I don't know because there is so much damage and filth. Update the rooms and then charge the people that damage something. Why waist your time having waivers signed if people with pets have to stay in a dirty filthy room? Oh and there is a $10.00 a night charge for the pet. What is that for? Surely not for cleaning...Food was good in restaurant which supprise us but the service very bad. We waited over 20 min to get a cup f coffee. If you like a nice clean room and travel with pets don't go there. Read more

Very nice stay in the room. The breakfast buffet was not the greatest. Food was cold, service sparse and the area really needed a clean up - food on the floor and walls. It just needs attention and some quality control.

Hotel was still in the process of redecorating so some things were not up to snuff, but the breakfast buffet and dining room food were very good and certainly adequate. I would stay there again. Stay cut short due to Sandy hurricane.

I went to Reading to be with my daughter for the birth of my first grandchild. The delivery dictated the dates I stayed which worked out great. I got the weekday rates and a great fall special discount. I used to travel a lot and stayed in hotels that cost 4X's as much and were not nearly as nice. The room was very clean and well kept. No stains or […] odors. Linens were also fresh and clean. Shampoos and soaps were better than average. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Inn is located conveniently within 2 miles of the outlets a mall and many restaurants. I ate most of my meals out but the breakfast was assorted and very good. My only problem was the room has the common self contained under the window heating/AC unit that plays havoc on my sinuses. That is more my problem than theirs though. Overall it was a great trip and The Inn at Reading made it a comfortable and pleasant stay. I would definitely stay there again. Read more

The Inn At Reading is an economical place to spend the night. The rooms are spacious and basically neat and clean, but the hotel needs updating and remodeling. If you have any issues with walking, this is not the place for you. The rooms are so spread out; you could get lost walking to the restaurant or front desk. We drove our car to breakfast because […] of this. We had originally ordered breakfast in our room as we had to depart early. There was a breakfast order form in the room that stated, "Hang this on your door by midnight and breakfast will be delivered to your room." I did this and ordered breakfast to be delivered between 7:00 and 7:15. You could get it delivered as early as 6:30. When there was no breakfast delivered by 7:15, I checked the door and our order was still hanging from the doorknob. I called the front desk and was told that they were about to send someone out to get the breakfast orders. How could they be doing this at 7:15 if you could get breakfast as early as 6:30? So we went to the restaurant to eat. The restaurant was crowded with guests who were all eating from the buffet. I asked if I could order off the menu. Since there was only one waitress, it took a very long time to get my order. All in all, if you don't mind dated furnishings and bathrooms, it was still a good value for the money. Read more

I guess it really was like living in the 1700s, there was no light in the room! i was forced to spend the night in the bathroom and left the room to go to the fitness center-which was nice. sorry, i dont go to bed when the sun sets. when morning finally came, i was appalled to see there was a blood stain on the sheet. shower curtain was dirty and scary. […] the front desk was ok, but seemed a bit aloof. no fridge or microwave in the room, also didnt see a luggage rack. hallways were winding and creepy at night, esp as a female single traveler. i felt if i were to be assaulted, nobody would know. it is located near berkshire mall and many shopping centers, as well as the econo lodge, which i would highly recommend over this place. one thing i did like was the colonial style decor, but they need to update a few things. This inn is apparently being refurbished and the desk person tried to put us in a room that was dirty, had stains in the rug and furniture along with some type of stains in the pillow cases that looked like black mildew. I've stayed here several times. They've upgraded many of their rooms, which was a nice surprise. The only thing lacking was a luggage rack. I don't like putting my luggage on the floor or on the bed. The breakfast buffett was average and doesn't come with the room on the weekend.
