This hotel works fine for a business traveler looking for a short stay. Meets the expected level of comfort, cost and convenience for "a room." As other comments noted... the bathroom is absolutely miniscule. You'd have trouble opening or closing the door without having to tuck yourself into a corner next to the toilet. World class tiny. At least it's clean. it is really a "suite" in name only. I guess if you but a small couch in the room you can call yourself a suite. This comes at the expense of the desk which is also "mini." A Hampton Inn room probably has the same total square footage so, to be a suite in that space, you have to shrink everything else. Overall, not bad... hits the mark on the one, major "must have" for an overnight biz hotel... it's at least clean and not worn out. Offers free continental breakfast. I don't mind (and pretty much expect), the commercial, packaged carbs but would it hurt to use real plates, coffee mugs and sliverware? Coffee cups are also tiny, by the way. Fortunately, there is a Dunkin Donuts a 1/2 mile away.

The room was very nice, but too small for all the hotel crammed into it. Also, you literally had to almost stand in the bathtub to open the bathroom door if you were inside the bathroom

Fairly typical hiway hotel; but a little overpriced for what you get. Room was clean and staff was helpful at least. Average at best.

Our hotel stay was disrupted by unruly teenagers walking the halls and partying in a room close by. We called the front desk and reported the goings on three times with no effective results. Finally, at 11pm we packed up our things and left our room. We spoke with the woman at the front desk who was familiar with us by then. She offered no solution and actually said very little. Ironically, the parents of the "basketball team" players were seated in the lobby socializing. We knew this because we saw them and because the young lady identified them as such. This is the second time such an incident as occurred at this hotel. They cater to sports team and nearby ski resort attendees but do not provide for any type of enforcement in the hotel. The remaining guests are left without any recourse during their stay for unruly guest behavior. We packed up our belongings and drove back home. Very sad.

This hotel was an exceptional value for the price. The restaurant behind the hotel was great and the fact that it was within walking distance was a plus. The free breakfast however was not very good or appealing but fortunately there is a diner style waffle place really close that is inexpensive.

The rooms at this hotel were above my expectations given negative reviews I read on the net. (I had no choice in my accommodations when I stayed at the Comfort Suites Scranton.) I like that the restaurant was behind the hotel- Mugs. The food was not too bad there and you could have a beer and easily walk back to the hotel. The pool was just nasty and so was the hot tub. BYOB- Bring Your Own Bleach The free breakfast was not as bad as other hotels provide. Styrofoam plates and bowels, but they had hard-boiled eggs. I think I need to get out more.

I really enjoyed my time at Comfort Suites in Scanton...We went to a concert at the Toyota Pavillion and it was a great location to stay! We were back at our hotel in about 10 minutes once we got to our car after the concert. Traffic was bad for everyone else heading home but we were only minutes away. A+++

We were very pleased with the hotel shuttle service. They provided us with a taxi to the airport and then coming back from our trip the hotel shuttle picked us up. The gentleman was very nice. He helped us with our bags both at the airport and unloading at the hotel. He carried on a conversation from the airport from the hotel which was very nice.
